After using this phone for 2 months..., here's my comments:
- full picture display is not possible, you will have to set the picture as your wallpaper to watch this full screen.
- this phone supports chinese character, can use pinyin or s stroke to enter chinese chars.
-you can only install games/ application via WAP. I'm not aware of any successfull method to upload from a pc.
- battery is ok, but you will have to charge once a day if you are heavy user. I charge mine once in 3 days, I normally use SMS only.
- camera is only good for still life pictures (non moving subject). don't waste your time taking picture from a moving subject.
- the ringtone for SMS is very low and cannot be adjusted, you will have to place your ear next to the phone just to hear the tone. If I was aware of this, I would never have bought this phone, I was wondering why they (Samsung) cannot just have the same routine for assigneing ringtone for voice call which is loud enough for me.
- I didn't find any samsung site in the internet that offer download for upgrading the cellphone OS. Clearly there are some bugs to be corrected but it seems that Samsung does not really care.
Finally, this might well be my first and last Samsung unit. My fault really, since i didn't listen to the saying: "Don't just the book by it's cover".
SGH-Z370 outward appearance is very good... unitl you actually use it, then you will realized that there nothing really good insde. :-(

Hi, anyone can adv me if this hp can support Chinese SMS? As in like you key in hanyu pinyin and out pops the chinese character for you to choose? Pls assist. Thanks.

Great Phone. Battery life is fine maybe i'm a super light usuage user lol. I charge it once every 3 days. Great camera in the day , pics are clear but when its dark , pics move slow and are blurred if u move slightly when taking a foto. Reccomend u get it although i had a slight problem with PC studio 3 as they could not detect it. other than that , the phone is great

this phone is slim and i love it but it's so slim that one day i forgot to take it out of my jeans and it when into the washer. battery life is not good

To put smiley face, u can't tailor "Type" it. What u do is, type in "i am happy" the smiley face will come out. But u need to turn on the function from the messaging section... not sure what it is called. i can't translate it from mandarin. I got this hint from one of the Phone magazine. Try it and share the results...ok

I like the phone but still hesitating of getting it. Just wonder how is the battery life, heard it is not good, only last for one day with normal usage. Izzit true? Ang comment?

I originally got this phone as a backup phone but I ended up using it now. The main thing I like about it is the slim profile - can easily slip into my jeans pocket. Since then I've sold my previous phone. For a slim-profile phone (i.e. slim battery also), expect the battery life to be shorter since its capacity is smaller. To save battery, I tried setting the network mode to GSM as I don't use the 3G function frequently...not sure if it helps though. Anyway, I think this phone is very good value for money.

Is anybody can help me? I bought this phone a week ago and have some problem with my camera.
The shouter speed is too low,when i try to make a picture and the object has moved even a little bit ... the photo is a mess.All phones which i had were samsung but i never faced with this.Is anybody has the same problem or it's only mine???!!!
Help me please,i really like this phone but camera...

i got this phone last month and am disappointed in it. the ringtone is pretty soft and mp3 tones cannot be set as msg tone. and the battery is pretty short. after charging fully and left it there unused for a day, the next day the battery shows 1 bar left. even my old 2.5 yrs old samsung e600c lasts longer than this. gsmarena shows that my e600c standby time is about 100hrs shorter than this z370 but yet e6ooc last longer.. what is going on?
was wondering since nokia and sony ericsson has a software upgrade capability via the internet, does samsung phones come with such service too? so that the phone doesnt consume too much of it batt?
can anyone help with this? many thanks!

hi, i have a problem with the bluetooth. i cant transfer files from my laptop to the handphone. the message "service transfer not found in " also the handphone cant connect to my laptop. same message is given

What I mean is that some says this phone comes in BLACK too.. Singtel said no black, ONLY silver. The black is another model X820.. yesterday I went JB, the phone seller also said the same thing as singtel. So i wonder if some of them could have feed us with wrong info for Z370.
Anyway, to those who complained about the soft SMS tone.. i don't have such problem.. I only switch on to vol 3 and it's fine.. If really want to pinpoint.. i think the vibartion and the keypad should improve.. vibration kinda weak and keypad look cheap and easy spoil
