...are you serious? you use the usb cable to download and upload files from and onto ur fone... most people shud know that :)
well yeah thats how you get mp3s and photos and stuff onto ur fone

heya, dus anybody know how to download mp3 files onto the phone from your computer? i am really confused!
Also, how do u transfer photos from your phone to the PC.
and what is the usb cable for that comes with the phone? is it a charger?

hello guys is nothing wrong with the phone batteri... it's just that samsung E700/E710/Z500 and the phone is the same series has bad batteri time. also samsung haven't beed great when it comes to battery time. what i think samsung lack most today is a good phone book like nokia or sonyericsson. and battery time. other option is good....

Vodafone told me that the Z500 needs to be fully charged and discharged 5 times before the battery becomes fully active. Try that. Personally, I think the phone is excellent.

i wonder if the z500 is this bad at all...so here,in my country i have an offer for this fone at 25o$so can any1tell me wath to do?buy this one or sez800 or the nice n-6670!plz give your opinions!thanks!

You cannot change the battery life now that you have done the first charge.
I called vodafone and they wont send out a new battery as they 'have had no complaints'...

yeah i have also had problems with the battery and so has my mum. its interesting that somebody has said the first charge has to be for 12hours as I only got instructed to charge for 2 hours - is there anything i can do to improve the battery life now - my 3g is off.do you think i should just get a new battery like somebody else did?apart from this the phone is good!!

I just rang vodafone and they said that turning gprs off on your phone makes the battery last longer too- and i hardly use the wap so turning gprs wont affect me, and when i want to go on wap i will just turn it on.

1. Turn your phone off of 3G if you dont use video calls- battery life will last MUCH longer.
2. When you first get the phone you have to do the FIRST charge for 12-14hours, otherwise the phone will never charge fully- will only charge to like 60% everytime.
I turn 3G off, and did a 12hour charge and the battery is ok, until I watch TV or listen to mp3's then it dies fast.
So it has a bad battery, but if you do the two things I said then it will last longer.
