was looking at the E730 then came across this... liking the memory slot, but the camera is 1.0mp not 1.4 as in the E730. would that make a difference?

Please can anyone answer any of these questions....

The E730 can record long videos. has anyone tried recording videos on this phone? how long can it record for, and does it record sound with video?

does the camera have zoom?

does this phone have a radio?

lastly, what size memory can this go up to?? i've been looking on ebay and can only find transflash memory cards that go up to 265MB. can it go up to 1GB if i could buy a card from somewhere?

sorry for these questions but i've spent money on phones before only to sell them again so i want to find out as much as i can before buying! hopefully someone else will benefit from these questions being answered as well. thanks!!!

man this phone has no flash! ughhh...samsung is like a girl, it seems perfect at first, but when u get to know it better its not, ughh

Z500 is a really nice phone.

It supports quad band. UMTS/GSM 1900/GSM 900/1800.

It is already out in Sweden, portugal and Italy. It will be in Vodafone shop by end of June across europe.

I like this phone. Longer talk time / standby would be nice though. Does anybody know when this phone will be available in Greece / Cyprus ? Thnx.

I really want this phone, I can't wait until it is available. Does anybody know if it has a flash and if you can use mp3's as ringtones?

is the samsung z500 better than the e720?
Of course, it has external memory. E720 has only 90mb and z500 can be expanded with memory cards! Plus z500 has umts so you can have videocalls or watch tv-streams.

z500 is way better than e720. It has all the functions you need and a little more :D IIII LOOOVE IT! It is absolutely amazing. Cannot believe so much can fit in something so small!!

Arrived Z500!!
I've been using it for three days, it's absolutely fantastic.
Good sensibility, audio and videocall.
The camera is only 1Mpix! No flash.
The missing calls they are not seen on 2d display after 5 seconds!!!!

Hi to all,

I work in a samsung organization and our company have said this phone is the best samsung phone and most popular yet. If you think, i'm lying, i'm not. I work in a samsung organization so i know all about it. This phone is due to come out in the UK on the 2nd august 2005. It is a 3G phone, which makes it very good.

I sincerely hope you buy THIS phone because samsung organizations (including me) will be very happy.

I think the Z500 is a very nice phone - looking at the specs. However, there have been a lot rumours in the market that audio performance of Samsung phones were not that good. Does anybody have experience with the acoustics of the z500?
