Howdy, bought the phone the other day as it seemed to be a steal at only E99 and had 3g, mp3 etc. However, mp3s will not send to the phone no matter how hard I try. Gonna bring it in for a quick once over in Vodafone and also pick up a 1gb sd card hopefully too.

if you want info about watching videos on the phone or converting avi, divx, mpeg etc into 3gp, scroll down and everything you need to know is there. the screen is small but it plays videos sideways so you get the most out of it :D

anyone got any hints about saving stuff i send from my pc to my phone.it fails to send,i think it is because of the memory being too small on the phone, how do i get it to save direct to my memory card.i use an adaptor it seems to pick up my pc fine and vica versa.

Yeah the usb data cables not really an option as I bought a bluetooth dongle in order to use with my new 'Bluetooth capable phone'. Its not the phone as such, it can find my PC and vice versa and it can find other phones and send and receive files.

The problem is the piece of s**t software thats bundled with it. It doesnt find my phone even though the software that came with my bluetooth dongle can recognise my phone and receive files from it. Only problem is it can only send business cards to the phone. Thats why I need to get handset manager working in order to transfer files to my phone (mp3's etc.)

Any help from anybody who has managed to transfer files via bluetooth using the handset manager application (if you can call it an application) would be very much appreciated.

yeh my bluetooth works fine with other phones and it seems to find computers at work. i dont have bluetooth on my home pc so im not sure. Just get a usb data cable and you'll be sweet to go.

Also i have put in a 1gig microSD card in this phone and it works.

(Memory status - 967.8MB Free) I havent been home to copy a gigs worth of stuff on it yet to fully test it but it looks very promising. If you're in nz or aus you can buy a 1gig card for this phone for $88 including gst or a 512mb for $44. www.flashcards.co.nz

I bought this phone as it had everything I was looking for (Video camera, 3G, MP3 Player etc.) especially Bluetooth! Well I've been able to send and receive files from other phones but cant seem to get it to work with my PC as such. I can send files to my PC and can see it through my bluetooth software. The problem is the Handset Manager software that comes with the phone. I cant seem to get it to connect with my phone at all! It just says Searching for device but never seems to find it. There is no help in the documentation at all. Its like a black hole that you must explore on your own! So if anyone has explored this black hole and seen the light could they let us all know how it works. Thanks!

As regards to the performance of the phone. Its good for the price of the phone. It covers all the bases but doesnt excel at any of them. The layout of menus is nice and fairly intuitive (Ive mostly always had Nokias and was anxious about this). Have had it freeze on me once or twice for no apparent reason and I cant even switch it off so just gotta pull out the battery! Theres a few niggles with this phone as posted previously but in general its a solid phone thats more than value for money!

Any answers to my questions please post them!
