i have a 703sh,previously i expirience of not playing mp3's,always retrieving "re-previsioning,can't send msges if not deleting the previous sent msge,and continiously sending sms,but now i can play mp3's and sending msge w/ no hassle,if u have the same prob,IM me at dmr72078@yahoo,com

URGENT HELP PLEASE :)
I want to save all my text messages (inbox) from my Sharp 703sh to my PC. - ( so i can have it unlocked to use in Australia. apparently unlocking erases the memory ).
My texts are all great memories from my time in Japan and i want to save them, text, graphics and all.
PLEASE HELP !!!!

hassan and bijay this model dosnt support mp3 files. it can only play aac files. So you have to download a converter and convert mp3 files to aac files.
Hassan budy regarding the mms and wap the network people should know the settings. The mms setting are in short the sever from where the message goes through and the mms profile. If any one you know uses a phone which supports mms, borrow the phone and go to picture messages or mms and then settings or options and just copy the settings into your phone.

Hi everyone!
got my my vodafone 703SHf just bought it from from Japan , and Im from the Tanzania East Africa . the problem is I cant send MMS and cant use the internet for this Phone .Do you know the settings I can use in order for me to send MMS and use the internet as well for this phone My sim card is Globe and unfortunately they dnt have any idea what the settings is as well. Also i had reset it
but now i cant play MP3'S OR Setting MP3's as
ringtone, i would appreciate anyones help..

help!
i'm having problems with my 703shf too!
i've tried pressing # and ON button to master restart my phone but it still never goes past the "Initialising" screen and then the phone turns off! and it keeps doing this over and over!
any idea?? please and thanks!

Thanks heaps omg, I have saved your response just incase. I was lucky enuf to find someone here in Melbourne willing to take the time to flash it and I should have it back today all ready to go. It needed newer firmware which this guy found and all at no extra cost. Regards, Helen

hi helen, i did a search on the net and i fixed my phone. You will need to flash format your phone, so if you have anything saved on your phone im afraid its going to be lost, unless you can find another way to do it.
what you should do is:
turn off phone, take out sim card + memory card (just in case)
press #+power on button(ie reject button) to power on
then a white screen will come on with all this stuff, just wait for it to format your phone
then once finished it should work :)

omg, thats what exactly happen wiht my phone, it stuffed up yesterday (23/8/07), it just stays at the initialise screen.....
thinking of buying a new phone since i dont think anyone can fix it....

Could anyone please help me. I purchased a Sharp 703SHf in Hong Kong to use in Australia but am having some problems with it. When I power up the phone, it goes to 'initialising' and then goes back to the start up screen...this happens over and over and over and never gets past this option. I have had it working, sending sms etc but it's just now decided after a couple of weeks to do this. Would appreciate your views. Pls email me at Helen.M.Cole@nab.com.au. I'd be very grateful. have 4 java games which is recommended for 703 fones but the fone doesnt recognice the game! I already change the 0000000 to 0111111 and sync but still no changes!!! pls e-mail me your help @ friored_dave@yahoo.com

I have a Sharp 703 - the handset pin code was set by my daughter who is now overseas & I can't figure out how to reset it as I don't have an instruction manual. Can anyone help me please? Cheers

mine came from japan and had it converted here in manila, philippines. everything is working just fine. however, it couldnt read my kingston 2GB minisd. it can read the panasonic 64mb though. i was able to put mp3's inside it. but i only put 128 kbps songs. and it is also pickiy in playing which mp3s to play so i just choose randomly. i have a few questions for eveyone:
1. What brand of minisd do you use and how large is it's memory if you can play mp3s?
2. Where can i buy the usb cable for this phone?
3. Where can i download some games?

but i'd really like to change it to Japanese firmware.
How can i do this? i've searched everywhere but found no answer.
