I have a Sharp 703 - the handset phone code was set by my brother who is now overseas & I can't figure out how to reset it as I don't have an instruction manual. Can anyone help me please?

I took out the battery and put it back in to power on again. Now it just flashes white screen with "Please wait" then black screen then again.

According to Globe people, MMS and WAP settings come from the phone manufacturer. In short, there's no way to get the MMS and WAP working on your Sharp 703.

my 703sh is good until now, but remember,if your 703 can't play mp3's, reprogram it by some technician or change some program, don't worry technician know how, to all asking me, my phone reprogram and it change some feature but it lost some feature too, but the good is I play mp3's also aac and midi tones, nice camera but not in the night, so shyrill don't expect the quality of nokia in 703

its a very good phone since im using it now for one and half years.. its user friendly .. easy to use and captures good pictures.. the design is very nice; but these are some few problems Ive encountered with my 703sh:

-after 1 year; the external time display is not working anymore
-the coat color fades
-the back cover slips out

I think thats it. other parts of it were very good esp. the camera and the mp3 player.. but you need to convert it to aac btw..

there should be a small led light just above the external screen that flashes whenever there is a missed event or a message.

hi i've perchased a sharp 703shf about one year ago this month, and lately i havent been able to connect to cingular(my normal service). I have already master reset my phone and tried everything by taking out the battery resetting it, and trying to connect all day. i've configured the settings to GSM, and have always found cingular until now. Any ideas on how to fix this? Could this be a sim card problem, band problem? if you could please email me at hyunwoo88@hotmail with any ideas or suggestions. Thank you.

Does anyone know how to show that you have received text message on the external display?
There is no indication that i have received a text or missed a call unless i flip open my phone...help!!

i dont know how darwin got his 703 to play mp3's. May be got some java software installed on the phone that can play mp3's!!! May be you can do that MJ.

Dear MJ,

this phone doesnt have an Mp3 player.703 can only play aac format sounds. Hence the only way you can play your mp3's on the phone is to convert them to aac and upload them. Cheers
