I Agree to u Mni that sharp should bring their handsetsto India. They rocks. Sharp r ages advanced then Nokia sets which r belived 2 b be the best sets by many blindingly. Nokia sucks. Horrible quality & high price. I saw Gx22 its many times better then many nokia high end sets. I wrote to Sharp India but couldn't sent it as their site is under construction. India is the biggest market in the world & sharp should bring their sets to india.I support u in this. Thumbs up to Sharp. Keep going & plz come to india with u'r phones.

BY THE WAY:

MMF (.mmf) was created by Yamaha, hence that's the place to download the tools from. Perfectly legal, and free.

So if you can't access mp3 Chaku-uta tones because you don't have 3G, then use this instead.

Thanks for the other post with the link!

Why was this edited??? This is not a commercial, just another way to play ringtones on your phone at the same quality than mp3s :O

================================

MP3 Ringtone Alternatives

OK everybody, here it is. If the whole mp3-ringtone debate is too hot or too expensive than I found a do-it-yourself alternative ;)

Thanks to YAMAHA we have an increased, powered-up MMF format (MA-5) with MA-7 to follow. In 'mono' mode it can play ringtones up to 24khz, that is pretty good and almost on the same level as mp3.
And the best thing, the WAV-> MMF (SMAF) converter is free for download from the Yamaha web site. It sounds amazing and these Sharp phones can have ringtones up to 300kb, so you can squeeze in some quality and lenght. They sound REALLY good! So far I made a coldplay clocks ringtone and heaps others, I'll share them if you want.

The many uses of Barcode reading:

Its not so useless as you think, maybe to the people outside of Japan where it hasnt caught on yet.

HOT

Damn that sample photo is HOT. Amazing quality for a phone, I think we're getting VERY close to the conventional digital camera.

I love sharp phones! I'm very happy with the 802, but once the 903 becomes available I'll think about it!!!

I just hope that Vodafone will take it a bit easy on the software. It's a pain to use the phones in a 2G environment (I know they are not meant to), but with a GPRS Lock I can't even use Vodafone live....which is bad for VF.
Also, the 802 and I also heard the 902, have some software bugs (sent folder bug) that definatelly should NOT appear in such a quality phone!

To Linda: Wow, you sounded fierce...did SONY offended you in any way? Pls be kind, don't say such unpleasant things about other brands. Others might have a different view :)

Another GREAT looking phone by SHARP.
Forget about the external screen ( who needs it?). If you like to have a photo call, you can set it up to work ones you open your phone ( on the internal screen).

The phone looks like the phone mus to. Normal size for the phone. Conviniently located keypad and high resolution camera as well as screen make this phone a leader!

the sharp 903 looks cool i have a 902 at the min and have nothing bad to say. the 903 is slightly bigger though and the 902 isnt small. dosnt look as though the software is as good either the 3.2mp camera has to be good but the price the'll charge think ill stick with the 902.

Call me mad but I think the design of this including the colour is great.I have never considered myself a phone fan and have always gone for the simplest solution possible.Recently i have been considering an upgrade after seeing everyone with fancy camera phones but only this one has realy grabbed my attention.Maybe im just way to big a fan of the colour red.Cant wait to see and sell and maybe even buy the real thing.
