hey guys just got this phone a few days ago...had the 703 back in January but sold cause it did not have any flash...
anyway my main concern regarding the 903 are the settings of the mp3 as ringtones and whether i can download my own from my mp3 library via usb and not buy them from vodafone uk( i live in London)
secondly why the phone does not accept any mp3 sent to my phone from another phone..have tried SE AND PANASONIC but no luck...is there something i need to do to my settings...
please help ..if not i will take it back and get the SE K800 ...that seems more easier..

Recently got my 903 - great phone. However, I'm trying all the tricks to try and get games on the SD card - without success. I've now identified my f/w version, but have no idea what it means.
Details as below (phone bought in NZ from parallel importers - think from Oz)
Version : 1.080
EMP : U100 5.0
OW : 7.0.2.1.545
APLIX : 1.17
Does anybody know what f/w this is? Can I play games from the SD card? BTW, I cannot get the 8+Power trick to work, but that fits with Timmys comments further down this page re NZ/Aus phones.
Any other options greatly appreciated - or good WAP sites with free games suitable for this phone.
Cheers

HI Unknown
All the euro is 1.046 but there is 2 diff versions. If the phone is a Euro version (EU Keypad etc) then the phone will not work with the power 8 trick, EG: if the phone is UK new or AU new or NZ new. If its a Japanese phone or a SX833 HK one and its been flashed to EU 1.046 then the Power 8 will work as its a Hybrid firmware that was made to flash onto those phones to get rid of Jap firmware.
Does anyone know the number for the HK firmware?
Thanks Tim

Hi Moose
There is 2 types or Euro Firmware.. If you have brought the 903 as a 903 (black euro one) and its not a japanese 903SH flashed with Euro firmware then that Power 8 will not work and power # will not work either as the phone has to be flashed with the firmware from the support sites that is the Hybrid firmware.. this has many firmwares all in one.
Thanks Timmy

OK, I am thoroughly confused. Many "review" websites list the 903 as having the "voice dialing" ability. How ever I can't find it anywhere in the manual or on the phone. Is it true. Does the 903 have voice dial? You know...speaking your contact's name into the phone and have it ring that person.
Thanks for the help guys.

RE: ZGMF-X322A
Thanks for your answer but I think you missundestood. I have hooked up the phone to my tv using the supplied cable. However the video on the tv only covers a small area of the screen. My question is, is there any way to display the video on the tv screen in FULL SCREEN format? Watching a tiny window in the center of my tv screen is not the best viewing experience.
Thanks for your help.

RE: den
if u read the past 2-3 pages of this website, u can find the steps that iv written on how to set ur mob to install java games into ur 903
RE: ZX6R
u can use the video output cable to connect the 903 and the tv and u have to set the "video output" in the settings...
RE: unknown
i have the euro version and it supports java games....
RE: Scratty007
in hk it is selling about $3000-3400 HKD.... converting to UK pounds..its about 200-214 pounds
RE: windy
MP4 is AAC format....mp4 is an audio file... if u want to play a movie in the 903, i suggest u to use the free software called 3GP converter which could be found in Yahoo!
