Hi Mike

If you got the Vodafone 903SH (Sharp 903) Then no it does not have the T9 Text on it. You will need Euro Firmware or SX833 firmware in order to have T9.

If you have Jap firmware then you may be able to try that Power 8 Trick to change it from Japanese firmware to Euro... We will atack that problem if it comes up ;)

So when are you getting this Sharp 903?

my friend told me that the 903 phone does not have the "smart spell" for texting in the US.... he said cuz its made in Japan, so theres no english dictionary in it... is this true???
if it is there anywhere that i can download the smart speller dictionary...
ps: thanks Tim, i havent gotten the phone yet but im sure im really gonna enjoy this my 903!!! :-)

I am not too sure about why your ebooks arnt working? Have you put them on the correct place in the memory card? if you have does the phone recognise them under the EBooks part of the menu. on my Sharp 904 its under tools.. is the Ebook part of the 903 under my items?

I think that the smaller that you have the pic the better quality it will be... Give it a go.. I cant think of an explanitation why but give it a go.

I cant think of any reason why? are you using japanese firmware or european? I am not too sure if Euro takes E-Books?

Thank you for your advice!Currently, i try to put some e-books into my phone...but i cant open the files....Do i need to install a software in order to the books?

i have the camera set on super fine also..but for resolution i had chosen 1536x2048..maybe that is why it didnt look so good when i transfered and saw it on my computer?

The reason that you are having problems when using your games with the 3 sim in it is cos the games have an activation code set for that sim card (your voda sim) only to avoid sending of them, it encourages people to buy them from Vodafone live.

I am not too sure about the settings but my one is on - Quality (Super Fine) - Picture Size (480 x 640) and it saves it onto memory card... Does this help? I dont really use its camera as I have a normal digital Camera.

PS: If you like the 903SH.. wait till you can hold a 904SH! Its amazing, the 903 is great.. 904 even GREATER! Amazing sound (louder/clearer) little features have been changed like you can browse through My Items folder while in the music player and it will not stop.. Themes that u can download from the internet.. Cool motion games (in jap tho so i cant play them properly hahaha)The unlock should be out soon.. and ill be happy as!

I just loaded up this page and saw.. I chose this phone over the K800i and i yelled FINALLY A PERSON WITH A LIFE! This phone leaves K800i for dead.... Welcome mate lol... you have made the right choice for sure. This 903 will never let you down like a K800i will with its ever failing firmware and joystick! I work in repair for mobile phones and i have never seen a SH'Sharp (eg a 903 902 801 and the list goes on) in for repair.. and as for the SE phones.. well the shops full of them.

Just bought a 1gb card for the 903 and love it i fit many movies on the phone..

and get your 1gb memory card from there - it cost me only £21.00 including delivery..amazing

i cant believe Car phone warehouse are selling their 256mb card for £29.99 what a set of donkeys.

I'm from Singapore, I've just bought 903 HK version. i have a few questions....
1) is there anyway i can activate my GPRS & MMS?? I'm using Singtel, i've called them they can't do it. i know M1 are able to have mms & gprs.
2) is there anyway i can set the songs that i've downloaded as ringtones? cos it always say due to illegal download. i have to d/l from which website?
3) is the phone really able to connect to tv?? i've tried it twice but i can't see anything. is there anything i need to set??

ok this is like driving me insane..ive taken pics with my sharp 903, using the best resolution possible, but when i transfer them to my computer and look at them, they dont look that good..on the other hand everytime i see pics taken with the 903 and posted on the internet, they look amazing..can someone like indicate what the optimum settings for taking pics should be?

hie, i realise when i change sim card(vodafone to 3) the games cannot be opened. it say invalid file... i downloaded my games thru vodafone.why does this happen?

There is some cool movies for the 903, you will need to convert them to 3GP with SUPER as a Nokia phone.

You can just use i-tunes and it does the best and fastest job. Remember that when they show on the 903 or 904SH they will not have any Artist Name.
I am not aware of any content for the 903 as such but u can try www.mobile9.com or www.projectw.org and register you can also download SUPER from http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html#Dnload
Convert movies as tho its a Nokia phone, throw em on your memory card under videos and you will have full legnth videos on your 903!!

Do u have a locked 903SH? If so what version of the phone is it? Is it the 2006 one or 2005 one? If its a NZ one then thats easily fixed.
