> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-08-01 04:11 from tVH3Maybe you are right, by the way Sharp is the best, the can make what Nokia can't, so Japan is the best! Next year we will see great phones here in Europe, I mean smartphones, well not clamshell ones, but I am not care if is clamshell or HTC style phone, to be Japanese, this is the most important for me. :)

> In reply to Mobilemaster @ 2009-07-30 13:09 from LaxcYeah, I sometimes respond from home or from work.

In any case, SHARP is not aiming at beating Nokia or Apple I can tell you that. They will aim at a different segment of the market.
People know SHARP for their LCD TV's in Europe, SHARP needs to target that segment of the market - and that's not the geeks.
So I believe that the devices will be smart and Touch driven.
Hopefully there will be some sort of segmentation like they do with Docomo - Smart, Style and Pro series would be nice.

We'll see.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-30 03:47 from PEKRI red the infos, but I am not care what happen on Asia, because I don't live there, I live in Europe, and I hope Sharp will beat Samsung and Nokia with some really high-end devices!!! Japan is the best!!! Actually Sharp makes the first camera phone, and they made the first coloured screen phones, sorry 4 my english. Also in Japan was announced the world's first digital TV phone, and the world's first waterproof phone!!!!

Apparently China is getting it's first 3G version "the Aquos" soon.

Google "China 3G the Aquos" to find out more.

Toshiba have already re-entered the market in Europe with their TG01, and that device is backed by NTT Docomo.

But as you can see, it's a touch device, but one of the best in it's class.

SHARP will most likely do something similar. I love clam-shell's too, so I wouldn't mind just ONE model that is flip.
Let's wait and see, maybe they'll surprise us!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-27 12:24 from 2WG0I am sad because of this, I want to see great Japanese phones in Europe too. If the design is not clamshell, this is not a problem.
