I wondered why I cant receive anything via the infrared port from other phones?For example from SonyEriccson k700 to my SharpGx-10. It seems it doesnt work at all.Someone told me that i can receive via IR-port just from Sharps and not others.and I hv installed the driver cd on my laptop and all that stuff. as my laptop has a infrared port i tried sending sumthin but it came up wid an erro,it didnt work. can someone plz help me?

soz but u cant receive data like images + sounds via infrared, it was designed 4 connection to ur pc via infrared

you can transfer any thing by using the infra of the mobile from infra in lap top computer

How do you edit the speed dial on this phone. The phone just took numbers randomly and those are the speed dial numbers and can't edit them........

my infrared and my GPRS isnt workin, i dont know y. i hv installed the driver cd on my laptop and all that stuff. as my laptop has a infrared port i tried sending sumthin but it came up wid an error. i asked my friend to send me a polyphonic ringtone usin infrared but it didnt work then i asked my other friend and it didnt work. can someone plz help me?

Oh I did not know at the morning even that I am going to have a phone Like Sharp GX10 since I got it as a gift.
Oh I am happy to see its resolution..splendid..and the ringtones..fantastic.

It took me time to get my sharp Gx10 phone but I was so excited from the first day I got it.My fellow employees do always ask me to borrow it to them so as they can enjoy the Sharp Technology too.I had been using many typoes of phones but the time I show sharp products I praised thier web site until I had to order for one and its price worth it.
Please let every body be sharp with sharp Gx10 phone.

Hello, I owned a Sharp GX10 for around seven months, during which it stalled after calls, the camera went fuzzy and the Vodafone Live! Service stopped working.
I purchased the phone in August 2003, then it seemed amazing next to all my friends Nokia 3310's etc. But after a while, it just seemed to much of a pain to work.
It is way, way too big and the only good thing about it was the call quality (Exceptional both ways) and the screen.
