yes, i bought de phone in uk but when im back my home town in kuala lumpur, malaysia i cant use de phone.try to network change but sharp in malaysia dont have that kind of model...help me

Good phone but has a few bugs in it. The alarm clock doesn work once the phone is being switched off. The vodafone sighns can`t b switched off.The menu can`t b arranged the way you want 2. The memory 2 the sms is def. 2 small as the capacity is only 30 + it doesn have the memory 4 the sms that has been sent already. So 4 the look design I would give it a 5 & 4 the features & preformace 3

To whom may it concern:
I'm living here in the Philippines, my elder sister had sent me a SharpGx10.Why is it that I could not send messages to the other cellphones, and well infact I still have a credit balance on my phone? The only thing I could do is to make or receive calls from the other phones and I could also receive messages. Could you please help me on it?

The phone is crap. I'm not just saying that, the phone has no java capabilities even if is there. Don't buy this phone. If you want a phone with a lot of errors that switches itself off then get this one. I have it, so trust me. I couldn't get a java game even after 5 dolars spending on wap. The Motorola v525 got the game in seconds. Of course this phone is newer so there can not be a comparation. Stay away from gx10! Stay away from Sharp!

1) How do I modify the speed dial list?
2) How can I save short messages (sms) on SIM?
3) How do I copy the whole phonebook from phone to SIM and viceversa?

Sharp GX10 Review:
well... before this, my main (and only phone i had at the time) was a Nokia 3510i, anywho...
this phone has a few good advancements over the 3510i: TFT 120x160 screen instead of a CSTN 96x65 screen, 65,536 colours instead of 4096, a camera and more...
but like anything, the GX10 does have it's good & bad points....
Good Points:
Small & Light
Takes both MIDI & SMAF/MMF Tones
Animated wallpaper
352x288 115k pixel camera
The tones are very loud when set to high (can hear it go off anywhere in my house!)
Very bright backlight
External display
Can be flashed to remove vodafone menus, animations, etc (for those who want and can be bothered to do it)
Bad Points:
Battery life is very poor
Customized for Vodafone Live!
When unlocked, it doesn't seem to like other networks simcards, while you can use the phone normally, you cant add, edit or delete numbers on the sim
There is no data functionality

i just got this fone and im still figuring it out, but so far, i like it. although i would prefer it if, when someone calls, you could just flip it and the call would be answered rather than flipping it and then having to press the fone button! yeah,ok im chattin shit now! its great! blah blah..!!!
