i just bought this mobile... and i have a small problem... when i go to contact list ant type in the search bar...any letter i write it always goes to the end onf the list!!! can anyone help me pls....

I want to know the exact memory of the phone. I use this phone but I don't believe the memory is just 1.4MB. Can you put me through? Is there anything I need to do to get the full memory? Can it play MP3?

I've had this phone for almost a year now and i seem to have a few issues with it. When the phone is switched off and switched back on, it takes a long time to read the sim card and i am unable to use the text option. The phone has a very low battery life and low memory. For those of you wanting to know about the bluetooth code, type a code e.g.0000 into your phone and the phone of the person your sending it too, it is just to confirm that both parties wish to send/recieve the message.

Hey i have been given a sharp GX17 as a loan phone why my N73 is away under warranty, and i must say i am getting on with it quite well, and to response to the earlier questions it does have a video recorder and bluetooth. The only downfalls i have found so far are the poor battery life and lack of internal memory, but for a loan phone it has been an ace replacement, i would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to use sleak looking handset.

i want to buy the Sharp GX17 but i want video recording aswell and it does not seem to say if it does so or not plz help! Also does it have bluetooth?

Actually it is a good phone.It has a very good vga camera.Good points:Bluetooth,Infrared...very good points of this phone..bad points:a very low memory..only 1.4 mb.It doesn't support card,doesn't have mp3,etc.

glad to see that the Mobile Internet service is working..can you sugest me where can i find the proper software for that service here, a link/address ..? pls..I have lost the original CD that came with my phone.

Correction:
To RECEIVE anything via bluetooth you have to be in the standby mode, i mean you have to see the background at that time and not browsing any menu.

I have this phone and its great, my wife accidentally drove over my phone with our new ESCALADE. nothing in the phone broke it is virtually indestrucatable

Really this phone is not to bad.I agree some things are not perfect,like memory.but its a phone and i think many people expect to much.There are enough ring tones to pick from and i have added a few extras. You have the rght to try out the phone in shop before you buy. Ask them to put in a sim so you can see if the phone is what you want.search for reviews and research online ect BEFORE you buy.Its simple. But i tihnk its a great little phone and the photos are better than my dig camera pics.maybe some people just expect to much from a PHONE
