Hi Ive Had This Phone For A While And You Cannot Answer By Just Flipping Up The Phone! Seya Later

I think the phone is great. BUT can anyone advise me how to answer calls simply by opening the flip phone??? I know you then have to press a button but I want to be able to simply open the phone and the call is answered!!

cd rom and usb wire is all included in the box...!!!!! its a great phone....very reliable...!!

this phone is not kool at all.... the camera is worst than gx25 but the good thing about this phone is that it has a card slot.... theres no auto focus nor manual focus like 705sh... its better to choose 705sh or 903sh than this

Hi all,
See I'm about to buy my first GX29 and after reading some comments from other ppl I think this fone's cool. However, can anyone tell me if this fone comes with a CD Rom, to load up the software onto a pc? My previous fone a GX25 came with a CD package.

I want to buy a phone but I don't know which..I like this one but I have doubts about it: the trasference of photos to a computer it's easy?; how many days battery keeps alive?
I apreciate that you answer me as soon as possible!I need a phone urgently!

im from HK....and one of the mobile network company has launched this phone.... and they always rename their phone to another name, e.g 903sh = SX833, 703sh = sx313, 705sh = sx633..... and this phone is called gx293..i really want to know y the crap they put a "3" there next to the name.....btw, i really hate smartone-vodafone actually... they are a lame mobile network company in hk... only they can launch sharp phones and on the phones they erase the name vodafone which is under the red logo..... they are really lame

I've has this phone for about 3 months and I find that charging it is the pits. Sometimes the charger works and sometimes it doesn't - you have to fiddle around with it for ages

i need a usb for my gx 29. i need to print some photos off. tried in the klick shop but the port would not highlight through blootooth.told it wasnt compatable. bloody marvellous.

this is the best phone in the world because it has great pictures video and even bluethoot all this for 99.
90 euros please not in a milion years we gonna have such a good phone with this quality and price.

A great phone - stylish and good functionality. MUCH longer battery life than my previous Samsung. But, does anyone know whether it has an active flip and how you set it to answer calls upon opening? Can't find any info on this... Thanks.

Well...to people out there who wanted to buy this phone SHARP GX29. Well, i just receieved my this phone and it was totally a disaster to me. This phone doesn't work really well. to those of you think of buying it, please double confirm b4 commit anything. When i received this phone, at 1st i was really pleased. And when i started to open the cover...it wasn't work really well. And i was so regret...of buying this phone. First, the signal doesn't get me through. The key pad don't have any light on it. So stupid...and again, the ring tones is not very nice too...So the next step i am going to buy is, VK530 mobile. it's a pink color mobile and i know many people love this color so much and the mobile too. So i trust VK530!! I am sure no problem if i buy it. So people, do not let the SHARP trick your costs. Be sure of it b4 commit anything. Ok. See u. bye!!

Im finding this is a great little phone. Not sure why ppl's keypad not ligthing up as mine does, but enough of that and onto why I'm making a comment.

Some ppl have said that they cant assign ring tones to contacts. Took me a few hours but have figured out how. As you will know "contacts" can be saved to the sim or the phone. The assign ringtone (to a contact) option can only be done if the contact is saved to your phone or both(NOT just to the sim) Its easy to shift a contact from one to the other so that should solve ppl's problem.

Hope that saves a few ppl pulling their hair out. lol
