Bought this second hand from Ebay from £40. Surprised by how ahead of their time these sharp phones are. They have everything. SD slot so you can take your photos down to get them printed etc. Enhanced bluetooth (much better than my Motorola V550 in this respect, which hardly picks anybody), 1.3MP camera, very clear screen to view your pictures. Amazing

I am trying to transfer the pictures i have taken on the Sharp GX30 onto my PC. I have the GX30 cable (one end fits into the phone's charger adapter and the other is a USB connector) but i do not have the CD software that came with it. I have the Internet at work but when i try and install it using the Internet it seems a site cannot be found. Can anyone help?

a great phone,it's probably the best i ever had,u can use a card reader to transfer files,it really sucks that u can't use bluetooth connectivity, but the photos are great, the display also,it has a very easy to use menu, tons of color, the mp3 sounds good, the only bad thing about it is that u can't find stereo headphones for it,but that's no fuss.
otherwise...like i said...great phone...i love sharp now,if i will ever change it,i will take a sharp also.

I have had this phone for two years. It is overall great.
Best screen I have ever used. Photos look really good.
Takes great photos too.
Bit slow sending and receiving photos.
Annoying texting - dictionary sucks and won't learn new words well.
Reliable, strong, still going well two years later.
Highly reccommended!

I bought this phone last week new, and really like it
however - i put about 20 songs on the MMC card i have to listen to - but it repeats the songs - so after every song i need to come out of MP3 and choose the next song - surely there is a way to do listen without me having to do this ?
please help
thanks,
Luke

Hey...why do you all love this phone this much? I think this phone has many many wrong sides...The volume of the mp3's is to small, the pics putted on the PC are not faboulous...like other phones...the video recording sucks, the transmission also bad, the battery life...:( sucks also.

Hi Stevie UK.
If you have the Sharp GX30 (not GX30i) you can only use the bluetooth to connect your mobile to a headset. This is a total let down in terms of the phone's overall spec.
If u have a GX30i you 'can' transfer data between mobiles, however the amount in any one transfer is limited (to 150kb I think). Perhaps vodafone were trying to force us to use costly MMS to send files but I don't really know. If you have a card reader for your pc then you can use that to put files on your phone's SD card.
If you really want to transfer files between mobiles though (and many people do) then all I can suggest is getting a different phone.
If anyone thinks this is wrong plz let me know
:-)
