Ok guys-maybe we may wish to use some objectivity here. The fact of the matter is that japanese phone manufacturers often release the same phone in Japanese edition before opting or not for the export market. So yes, you sometimes find japanese phones sold worldwide but the reality is that the represent only a mere fraction of what the japanese phone manufacturing industry has to offer. I have tried so many times to walk into a phone store in Japan to beg for a GSM version of japanese mobile only to hear that the phone is meant for the japanese market only. Any japanese phone which sells worldwide is usually a version which comes with about half the technology of what the same phone has to offer on the japanese market. And that is so for a number of reasons-the primary reason being that japanese network and mobile technology is a lot more advanced than that of the rest of the world.

You do sound to me like you are either a grey market "Japanese mobile phone" wholersaler, or a grey market mobile store owner....!

Are you running out of business because of Smartone Vodafone?!

923SH is ONLY for Japan! Do you live in Japan?!

I'm in Tokyo right now and according to my source of information, 923SH is not planned for export!

As compared to the Japanese version, the SX862 from Vodafone do not have the map function; where as the Japanese version by SoftBank do come with GPS!

The earpiece volume is not quiet....but you must place the speaker hole close to your ear.

I love this phone so far, I got the white version. At first, and still, I love the dark blue...but then it looks a little dull along with the black and it makes the phone look pretty huge and clumsy. White however is sharp and brings out the contour of the phone much nicer. Every thing is great except that because it's a Japanese made phone, you can't make your own mp3 ringtones. You can only use the downloaded ones that you pay for. It can play mp3s, but you just can't use your own edited mp3 ringtones. That's the only complaint that I have.
