this concern is for V804SH. can i remove the re-provisioning thing that shows up when i press the menu button? when i press yes, it says "can't connect to network" and if i press no, it just goes back to the normal menu. but it pop-ups everytime i press the menu button. pls help. thanks a lot = )

wow. V801SH is so cool, it has great features, but i can't send pictures through internet, i can't use MMS/GPRS/3G. How can I use Smart MMS? is it possible also to upload some games?

for the mms, gprs, or 3G settings of this phone contact your mobile operator(Customer service for Golbe is 211 and for Smart *888)

get the phone's manual at sharp's website for you to be able to know how to send mms, yes 3G is available here in the philippines the two leading networks(smart and globe) both support 3G, I think it's php6.50/minute

Can this phone be used on T-Mobile in the U.S. if it is unlocked? I keep reading so much conflicting information.

I bought one on ebay that was supposed to be unlocked, and the seller said he had used it with T-Mobile in New York. I can turn it on without a sim card, and it works ok. But when I put a T-Mobile sim or any other U.S. sim, it says "please wait..." And then turns off and on, repeatedly reseting itself. It never gets past this first screen.

I also tried putting in a Japanese sim (not vodafone) and it turned on just fine.

Does this sound like the phone is broken, or that it is not unlocked, or that it will never work with a T-Mobile sim card whether or not it is unlocked?
Can anyone help? Thanks.

I got my phone sent to me by a friend in Japan (she got a new one and didn't need it) and I got it unlocked here no problem....only thing is, every time i press a button, like the menu ones and basically any button, it asks whether i want to "acquire information to use handset OK? yes/no" and if i press yes it says "unable to establish network connection check usim card" but if no is pressed it just disappears....any way to turn that off or something? Also, why can't it acess the sim? It is able to see messages and stuff that were saved on there -_- help?

hey guy this phone is great the only thing bad on this phone is that its a little big. lol and how to make the mp3 like ringtone: simple u have to record the desidered music like video the normal and than u go on set the ringtone, now select data folder than video and than the music than u just recordet. now whith this method u have all kind of sounds or music for ringtone,smstone,alarm or watever. enjoy this guys.

o really can u do that if ne1 knows how to change da recorded mp3 file to an mmf file so i can use it as a ring tone or txt tone plz do tell me. it wud b much appriciated

you have to change the mp3 file too mmf
go search odafone japan for your english manual

yeah dis fone is ok bt 2 bad myns in japanese n has no manual which is hard to figure out..btw do ne of uzz know how to use the recorded mp3s n turn them n2 ringtones or txts tones

i acquire my v801sh here in the philippines
i have no idea how to download games since there is no vodafone services here in our country where can i get that games and i can buy earphone,battery and charger?thank you.i have no problem with my v801sh til nw it is in condition.

im using a sharp v801sh and i got it opened for only 1.8k
why is everyone saying that it cannot be unlocked...

The phone IS unlockable, i managed to get hold of one which works on my UK network (Orange 3G). Unfortunatly you can only use it to call and SMS, since the web and mail features are pre-set to Vodafone KK and cannot be changed.

The MP3-player accepts only SD-audio ( You need Panasonic's SD-Jukebox software and a compatible Panasonic Card-reader for the phone to recognise the file).
