stefan to transfer data from this phone to your pc you will only need paper and a pen.write down the info from your phone to the paper and the them copy the info from the paper to your computer.

Hi, Does anybody have instructions how to transfer data (addresses, organizer) from a Siemens A31 to the computer? Do I need a special software? If yes where can I get it?

I have been pleased to use it for about a year but today my telephone book dissapeared.
Can't transffer the whole Address book to the SIM at once,so now I'm breaking my thumb to copy them one by one.
that's not good!

For nearly five months I owned this phone and I became an aficionado of Siemens. Yet somehow two weeks ago the Addressbook in my SIEMENS A31 containing all the names and details of my contacts were gone without a trace!
Now I have to re-type and enter again the details of my contacts! It is really a pain the neck or fingers for that matter.
Anyway, it is a nice phone better than other brand with similar price except of course the built-in games are not up to par.

yo listen siemens phones need to come out of the stone age and make a phone that actually competes with the likes of nokia sony etc they make pathetic phones i just dont understand siemens pull ur finger out of your arses and make a dam good phone

Me and my girlfriend like it - we often go to Barcelona, as she's Catalan, and needed a Pay As You Go over there to avoid paying international charges whenever we phone or text friends. It was cheap in Sitges, it's small, the batteries seem to last OK. Suits us.

Avoid. A lot of us at work have had these phones recently and everyone complains of the poor reception and susceptibility to interference from the unlikeliest of sources. e.g. an electric lift causes my phone to drop its connection while colleagues on older siemens and nokias have no problem in the same situation.
