I have this phone and i Love it. It has no Bluetooth, no Infrared port, no camera..nothing. But i Love it anyway.
I love the alarm that is really loud. :)

this phone is a real fighter. my father had one. he burn it with a cigarette, dropped it from 10 m high(30 ft), even dinked beer and still function. after 5 years, in a shiny morning, it died. R. I. P.

Wonderfull phone. Since 2003 I had two A50 phones. Unfortunately I lost them both. This is their only fall :) Incredibly easy menu, and incredibly durability. Pretty good battery, good volume (a must for me), and a loud alarm.

4 years till now (from 2003) and nothing else to wish. crushed it several times (>30) with no effects. it's still with the original battery, though it needs charging every 3 days now. very realyable, very convenient for sms typing, very easy menu. it is THE mobile phone. i would buy one more.

dis fones phat as!! I had one for abowt 4 years!! Seriously, i used 2 throw it abowt newhere, and i mean in the road, onto buildings so it would smash back down to the ground, and its only just broken after all that time when it fell in the bath I was runnin! Lol, slipped out my pocket! Sod's law or wat!!

Served me for 3 years (2003-2006)
Easy to use and sweet phone. Has a good battery, but the software is crap - sometimes it just doesnt want to ring somehow... and it's alarm doesnt ring... Often shows card error or something. Two advices:
1.DONT buy it second hand.
2.When the performance problems start get rid of it.

I had this phone for about 2 years then it started freezing on me...it was a great excuse to buy myself a new phone. However, while it was working properly, it was a good phone, very easy to use.

Could someone please help me with trying to get the incoming ringer to sound. The phone is not on silent mode. I can hear the beeps to alert me of a message or when I press the keypad. When I select the ring tone I wanted I can hear the example. I just can't get the phone to sound on incoming calls. It has even stopped vibrating. Please help!

Reliable, basic phone, no frills / bells / whistles. Quite rugged, reliable. Quirky menuing, not too dissimilar from Nokia system.

It is a bad mobile.i have used it but didnt like it bcz its screen certainly disappeared and it is not even starting now.Can any one help me? plz

i guess this fon is awsome,though it does not has a camera or a colour screen but in a class of black n white fones it is one of the best one's...i personally have an emotional attachment to this as it was my 1st mobile fon.kids if wanna start .....go 4 it!

I've had this phone for 2 years now and it never failed me. It fell on the floor and was thrown against the wall by my 2 yr old and it's still working! Its very basic though, no major features-
