Good phone at a fair price. Excelent for those who want a basic phone and don't want to pay any extra for additional features. Pretty solid built, good signal (even in the forest/mountains), and decent stand-by time (mine last about a week with few calls/sms per day, but no games).
Polyphonic sounds are nice; Vibrations could be a bit stronger.

hi! pretty good phone, lots of features. i like especially the polyphonic ringtones, but, allas, they are so few... :-( also, what pisses me off is that there is no organizer. i save contacts as sms. it should be easy to put one, as the phone knows what day it is today and tomorrow, because of the alarm clock. but, overall, a good phone.

The best phone eva! Siemens apeal to me more than Nokias now. I had an A55 then my Aunty and me upgraded our phones to the M55. Siemens, all you need to do is add an fm radio or bring out a conectable fm radio so that those who dont hav Nokias can also listen to music. WELL DONE,

My parents just bought one. A very nice little phone. Offers the features most people expect from a phone. My parents don't need bluetooth, MMS and all that stuff....
They want a good, easy to use, reliable phone and this Siemens succeeds very well... recommended

Man, I'd like to say that this phone really rules! I bought it in Romania with only 39,95$ on Orange and i thingk it's the best you can get with such low price! Polyphonic ringtones, EMS, screensavers...what more would you want?

A55 is better than Alcatel 512, Alcatel phones are the worst phones on the market.
