I am using Siemens AX72 since last 6~7 month's. This 1 is my first phone. I always adore "Siemens" mobile phones.
Main advantage is, if you live in a country like India & if your mobile gets lost, nobody going to use it. Siemens mobile phones are difficult to use..Hehe !
Big advantage of this model, drop down this phone on group many times, and you'll see no scrach..LoL...I dropped several times err..
Thank got still full network...
Samsung has this disadvantage, if you have Samsung phone & it falls down, its gone man.
Network goes off. The chip inside gets disturb or something.
I am planning to buy advanced model of Siemens soon. For this model, battery goes up to 2 days 6 hours max.
Even if it shows little battery, it still goes up to 2~3 hours. Charging battery maximum for 2 hours is the best practice.

i dont think this has to do with unlocking. the issue is that i purposefuly keyed in the wrong phone code for three times and now the phone can only accept just that my sim. i find this amazing because i thought since i knew the phone code, when the phone is locked, i should be prompted for the phone code whenever i want to use the feature. instead the phone will just tell you phone code locked. whats happening somebody... i need help.

I bought siemens ax72 just now and i also bought the data cable. But when i install the cable, driver the mobile phone manager shows the mobile is not connected. i try lot to connect it but i fail. can any one help me how i can connect my mobile with my pc.

Does anyone know how to clean the inside of the screen? It's annoying that dust particles gather it reduces visibility and I can't open the cover! I've tried unscrewing it but the screws don't come out. Anyone pls help! pls email boltonwanderer2k@hotmail.com

Someone please help! I can't change the ringtone on my phone. I can't even find the ringtone that it plays in the list of sounds on my phone. I have spent about 1.5 hours on this and it just keeps playing the same tone, even though it tells me that the melody has been updated.
I am going into the ring tones menu, Call tone, change and then selecting any other tone but the phone steadfastly refuses to change!
If I don't solve this soon this phone is going to become a new satellite!!

great phone for a tight buget and i like the colour screen but its a bit slow and is like a brick. i would get it as my first phone

For the low cost it's a really great phone. Sorry to hear about others' problems but I've had mine for several months without any.

I happen to posess one of these.
Advantages:it has the same number or more features than any phone at the same price, 65K color screen, good resolution, USB connectivity, nice looks, Siemens quality
Disadvantages: works pretty slowly, the back thing comes off too easily, so if you drop it bare, the back cover will almost certainly fall together with the battery (not a major problem as can be fixed with a plastic holder), reduced battery life (it's gone in 3 days in stand-by).
Anyway, it is much better than a more expensive Nokia 1100/1101/1110/1111 and what ever they will be making.

Sum1 asked he cant silent his phone. Then plz push(*) star button &it will show "All rings tones swit. off".Now u can pick silent alert 4vibrate.
Also sum1 asked how 2download opera mini.Just go-mini.opera.com& dload.
And with Dca-510 u can add any kind of pic,midi,amr or wav things.U can mail me 4any kind of help at motiurrahman11@yahoo.com

I agree with all the others who say there phone keeps turning itself off. I'll be waiting on a call and when I check I'll find it off! A bit frustrating. Question for everyone though...does anyone know where I can find the meaning of the symbols used in sms and mms menus? The manual doesn't say and I keep getting different symbols for what I thought were normal sms messages...Thanks!

According to my first post you can also go to_setup-clock-auto swit.off and make sure that it is in manual. If not then turn it on "manual" mode.
Remember when you are browsing please turn on illumination in 10. If you set illu in 90 then you can hardly get 1 hour. But in 10 I browsed 5 hours. And dont forget to master reset your set after a month...-M-

Hello folks.. Many1 complaining about sie-ax72 battery.But u cant expect more pow with 600mah batt.Not only we r but also ev sie user is shouting.But when its self-off prob i think i can help.
Plz open ur menu then setup-security-file system-clean up-info-del.mms-file system-internet & then delete the files.those r cokkies or u can just open menu & dial 9-6-9-2.
