Hey again, I wrote a comment one week ago I think, and so I want to correct my mistake cuz the Siemens C55 rocks, I had the siemens S45i and so when I bought this one(C55) and I saw there was no IR or stopwatch or countdown timer.. I was mad for the first day and I wrote the first message, but when I played the cool games espacially "prince of persia" and when I started recording cool noises, melodies, and voices i knew how much it's great + it has shortcut keys and user profiles , menu animations , built in fax/modem and the most important the JAVA which I didn't know how to use before, but when i learned to use it by downloading games & applications i really knew its value and the GPRS feature is also a great step in technology.. & so I'm not doing a publicity to this cellphone but the way u can personalise it is really COOL!! with its cool FLIP IT covers and picture callers and melodies and the menu format and logos and screensavers... and in closing I advice you all to buy Siemens C55 cuz it combines all the cool & great features & options & personalisation and the price is really affordable , and if u want to buy a Nokia or a Ericsson with the same features u have to pay at least 350$ for it .. and so in a word IT ROCKSSSSS , LONG LIVE SIEMENS & KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

This phone is pretty good, yeah, it doesn't have countdown ( I was a M35 user) or stopwatch, but it's a true Siemens phone and I think regular Siemens users would be quite happy with this one, and it looks a hell lot better in real life than it does on the net... but the S55 looks really appealing too. This is quite a good buy really.

Heyyyy, i bought the C55, there's no voice recorder, no calendar, no address book, it doesn't have a stopwatch or a countdown timer.. and so this new Siemens (C55) has one cool option (sounds recorder) and doesn't have the important other options like Infra-red interface or voice memo or cool games (only 2) & the siemens C55 doesn't have Data exchange with PC .. so it sucks , so don't be tricked by this one option and don't buy this mobile..

I dont know whether this phone is good or bad.I think this can be very good of poly tones, handsfree, gprs, wap, ems, recordable tones and brand new keyboard. Come on Siemens, make good phones 4EVER!!! The c35i and c45 is fucked but I hope this wont be bad.

I am in love with your siemens phone(the C55 brand). I would be please if you e-mailed the cost of the phone to me as I did not see any price stated. If there is a newer brand than the C55, I would like to know the brand name and the price as well. Thanks for your kind cooperation. Kind regards.

Hello to everyone
I own this phone for not so long, but..
I must say, guys: you won't regret buying this one. I wouldn't say it blows or rocks, this is not of my habits. But I'll analyse this a lil'.
I was hesitating: Nokia 8310, 6510, Siemens S45 or Sony Ericsoon T100. But finally took this one, however, it is the right choice.
Why didn't I take S45i? I don't need a business phone with luxurious features. There are many I don't need. But people say also that this one is good.
Nokia models (see above) are too small, too cheesy, or the other ones (3510) are stupidly big like bricks. Sony Ericsson...don't really know. Didn't convince me.
I don't need a colour display, that of S55 is great. Its performances are decent, sound, dynamic and mic qualities are competative or more than that. Ringtones -
there are many for any kind of choice you can also record your voice, and it's better than that of Sony J5 (the one I owned previously) in therms of quality. The
menu, I think, had been improved since. It's much more simple than its predecessors'. The WAP features and conectivity - nothing to say. This phone was made to
satisfy.
The practical assets also are: changable covers (to remove dust and dirt you don't really have to make an effort), fast keys, voice dialing (probably not necessary to
use, though). Size is great. Matters :)) Better than Nokia anyway.
In the end of the day, what do I need from portable?
To be able to hear when it rings, to be able to hear people who call, to be able to feel when vibra is ringing in my pocket, to be able to modify ringtones (here you
can download them, as well as logos, from internet via GRPS), to be able to push the right button not being puzzled of where and when.
What I lack: the phone book could be bigger (only 50 nos. you can store). For the time being, it's all.
Just go for Siemens.

Hi just thought would add my opinion for what its worth.
Well what a fab phone we have.
C55 blows Nokia 3510 out of the water.
I had 3510 and here goes.
Clip-it covers more stylish (3510 is usual coffin shape Nokia Design) and more of them.
Sound from 3510 not bad but not as good as C55 also 3510 used a little hole in bottom of phone which can be covered by hand.
C55 has a brill speaker phone facility which 3510 doesnt.
Orange display (would have been nicer to have choice of colour) better than 3510 green.
C55 much more compact (luckily not much smaller,I have small hands and have no probs).
I cant find anything so far to fault the phone on I just love it and would reccomend it.
Available from Phones4U in Walsall and rest of UK now under justphone ie sim free for £139.99 (brochure shows £160 so may be a launch promo not sure by shop) same price as 3510 is selling for, may the battle commence.

Dear UNKNOWN, I wonder if have you ever used a Siemens. I had 3 models so far: C25, C35i, ME45 and I NEVER had problems with firmware bugs. If a company makes reliable phones, its name is Siemens. They test their phones before they release them in market, unlike Nokia.

Hey Siemens has great software!! I have used Siemens for years (and changed models) and never had a problem with it. That's why i'm waiting for this phone to come in my country and buy it ! This phone is great! and expencive? The shit-o-phone NOKIA 3510 is the same price? C'mon that phone isn't worth 5 $! even NOKIA confesed that the phone is full of bugs HW & SW! There's only 1 thing i don't like... It's display color! It should've been blue!
