i love this phone.it's true that the battery sucks, but the phone looks good(i have cv65).

The only way is to transfer the files in amr format (but it doesnīt sounds good) or wav (but wav files needs more space even than mp3)

This phone canīt play mp3 nor .3gp
Those files arenīt supported.
And Iīm so sure because I had this phone since February 2005, on December I bought a Nokia 6230 and used both phones. I tried to transfer mp3 files and .3gp videos from 6230 to C65 trough IR and never worked.
But in July 2006 I sold my C65 to keep only the 6230.
C65 is a good phone except for camera. For the guy asking for better camera performance: You canīt improve your photos. Isnīt a good camera.
But come on, anyway is a very good phone and what can you expect for a low end phone??
The only problem I had is that my battery cover broke after a year of use. But I bought a new original cover and was really cheap.

if you mean turn off the shutter sound, maybe setting the phone on silent helps

I used this phone for 2 years and it served me well. Had common problems like it shutting off and freezing, but for a cheap phone with a camera, what do you expect. I have just bought a Sony Ericsson z710i and i love it. My problem now is that i want to get pics off my C65 and onto a computer but i don't have a data cable, and don't have the original software (that might have come with the phone, i can't remember) so I'm going to try to use the Infrared port between the phone and my laptop. does anyone know where i might find the software to do this?

its a nice phone, bttery life sure is less, some times hangs but does well with other softwares, camera has a real terrible loud noise,

A good phone if you know how to use it.
Indeed, a short life for battery, and only 2 to 4 standby days.
