had this phone for 6 months, so i think my comments are valid, it's a bit all over the page, the advs/disadvs are scattered:
-has an ok battery, good enough, I only charge it every 3-4 days
-the camera is poor (I have a dslr so i'm biased, but they could have done a lot better, don't buy this phone because of the camera)
-the phone processing speed is slow
-adding to the last point, it's good enough, I don't play games (which are too slow) but for some applications, it's only 1 extra sec max to load
-it's only crashes when you try to upload fancy animation, it's prob the same problem as a computer program timing out in loading, again comming back to the processor
-it's solid, i have literally fliped a phone instead of a coin (crazy hey?), it deosn't budge, you don't notice the scratches, which I only got from running with it in the same pocket as keys
-the sound is great, my friends can hear birds from outside my window on the phone
-it's user friendly
-i'd swap the camera for a radio any second
-can't switch off the annoying camera noise
-has good features
-IR actually works, unlike some nokia phones
-excellent price, for the equavalent of some brick with nothing, you get a great phone
-stylish (relativly), light weight + small size (my first considerations)
that'show i feel about my phone, it's sturdy and can take heaps of battle damage (I move a lot in the worst enviroments), it does everything it's meant to, and it looks and feels awesome, plus it's damn inexpensive.
what more you you want?

This phone is really very good if u ve not seen any camera phone bcos camera is too pethatic as wel as batery is only for keeping in on for the whole day but not to use your mobile at all becasuse if talk there is a risk that batery will be consumed beforew evening.market value is very poor since no body ll be willing to buy it.

This phone died in one year. Since the first day, the camera crashes a lot, when I select one option in the menu, sometimes appears another one, and many other issues.
The other day, i went to make a call, and oh surprise!, the screen is all black with some stripes. The phone can make sounds,etc... but screen is off!!
The best thing on this phone is that you can see how many time are the lost calls, so you can know if you have a really lost call or only a "blink"
I don't recommend, is very unestable and have a short life.

Hi! I read all things about this phone. I think that this phone is verry nice, a lot of featiures, nice design, but...the batery is poor. Why Siemens put this bateries on their phones? is a mistake because people ar not satisfaid. anyway, is a good phone, and i recomand. cyao!

Good cost/benefit ratio. Good sound quality in phone conversations. Though I've tried, I can't get mine to freeze or hang up. The battery is a problem... I got a longer life by turning the phone off and leaving it charging overnight. Removing animations also helps. Yes the processor is quite slow... no good for impatient people. IR works fine, a little slow prob. because of overall phone speed. I can't turn off that very loud shutter sound and there's nothing in the manual about it. Still I recomend the phone to budget-minded users who want a decent, nice-looking mobile with a good set of features and a large memory. But it wont be the battery to satisfy you.

Well despite what people say, I think this phone is ok. I've had it for over a year and it has been very good for its price at the time. Ģ40 when camera phones were quite new, it is still more modern than some of my friends' phones. Yes it has frozen a few times,but it is easily fixed just take the battery out, its camera is acceptable and it is relatively easy to use. Although I will be glad to get a new phone, I think this is a very good option with those who want a decent phone with little cash to spare. ***

There has recently been a competition where this type of phone could be won. It was a poorly designed internet-competition, so I was able to write a script and win many many of these. They ALL have battery problems.
I have begun to return each and every one. The battery life is shorter than what the specs say, so I want another battery (and have already received a few).
So I would say: check the official specs (i.e. the guide you got with the phone) and see what battery life is guaranteed. If you're under it and within warrantee (6 months on the battery, normally), return it.

I donīt believe in what u say about this phone is very good and i have very good results with it, apart from that if you want a better phone please try to pay more for it, buy a different phone itīs simple. I like it and itīs very good. i suppose that if you get different things to include in the phone like ringtones or wallpapers you will see that it gives good results.

yep it have lots of problems i have siemens cv65 and the battery life is short, it crashes all the time but it can read 3gp files, wav, mid, amr, java but the quality is poor

It seems most of the C65 have three major problems.1-Extremely short talk time 36hours, 2-the phone hangs most of the time and 3-the speaker is of very poor quality.
Does Siemens ever read user comments?
What has Siemens done about this anomalies?
Experience with the C65 has taught me not to trust the official tech specs. I would rather relay on GSmarenas'reviews and user comments.

Do not ever buy this phone!!! All romanian people have a poor sentiment aboit this phone. It has a bad quality fabrication....don't buy this phone! is the mistake of the life. siemens mobile phones are not good....bad phone!!

I've had this phone for little over a year now and it crashes all the time. Yes it has a lot of features but wot use are they if they keep freezing on you? The battery has completely died now and i'm over the one year warranty so i can't return it. So i bought a Siemens SF65 3 weeks ago. It is nice looking, and much more reliable. Although it doesn't have as much features as this phone, its camera is much better - you can store photos at over 1100 x 800 pixels. Check it out if you're not happy with this phone. Hy! I want yuo to know that this phone is simply THE BEST in its class and the best i`ve ever had. The only problem i have with it is the short battery life, it never freezes at me. What i recomend you to do is to visit www.siemens-c65.tk and www.todoc65.tk and to download all the kits to transform your phone into a beast. My phone now plays wav files with the quality of an mp3. You can put a wav as a ring tone. and thats not all! I recommend this phone to EVERYBODY!!

this is my first siemens phone.
it is an excellent basic camera phone. very user friendly. good ir capability.
problem is often hangs and short battery life.
