Hy.This phone is great, but there is one problem....the batery...I read all your post's and I will try to charge it 24 houres for 3 times and I hope the life battery be longer.The camera works perfectly and take's good pictures.The IRDA work's also perfectly and I had put some games on the phone.You can find on the net the soft for this phone.I will write one more post after 3-4 days...to tell if the baterry work's loonger.See ya.

It appearance is very nice and has some good features but there are some problems with it .It battery does not last long and often freezes.

The only thing I don't like is the battery, just only for half day, after that I must recharge it......
when SIEMENS give a good battery for they products ????

That machine doesn`t work. It`s becoming disconnected permanently.
The technical service (IS2 in Madrid) says that it is a defective serie and it doesn`t have any possible repair.
Better you should not to buy it.

It's a very nice mobile phone with userfriendly menus but ... the battery is a real disaster. After sending 2 mms, calling 15 minutes and adding 2 entries in the phone book I have to recharge it !!
I bought a new battery ( same as original ) ... still the same problem !
With my oprevious Siemens mobiles ( MC60, S45, C35, S25 ) I never had problems with the battery.
Is it possible toput another type of battery in this mobile phone ?

anyone and everybody that had a bad comment about this siemens C65 phone ...., WHY ????
Isn't it had a LOW PRICE with MAXIMUM features !!!! Guys... sometimes u have to get a realized for vote something !!!!!

I had this Phone for about a year. I kept it in my pocket during school (we're not allowed our fones in school). Beacause of the bad keypad locking,(it can be unlocked by pressing 1 button), it kept on unlocking and either calling people, going online, or playing sounds. I was nearly in detention 2ce!!! Another problem is the bad picture quality, the pictures are rubbish even for a phone. It is also hard to see the screen in bright light.

i hate the phone the batter quality is poor its screen is hard to see out in the sun

the only good thing about this phone that it has a very large memory

This C65: is enough versatil and attractive in its design; I consider that it would have to improve as far as the resolution in the camera and the duration of the battery.

this is a verry good phone.....i like it so much. it has infrared, large memory and the picture quality is verry good. it is one of my best phones.

This is one of the best phones on the market at the prise. A 250 to 300 dollar nokia in australia cant equal what it does. Also like other people who have replied to other opinions the battery does last for 3-4 days and mine has never crashed. Its easy to use has 10mb inbuilt and takes a far better picture than more expensive phones.

i don`t know what kind of c65 you fellas got cause i have mine for about three months and guess what ?... i work`s perfect...never crashed battery lasts for about 3-4 days...so nice phone.maybe your did not buyed it from the right store and it was used very much...bye

the battry is very good but in case of
1- reducing both lllumination&contrast (4 me i make the lllumination =10/100)
2- adjust screen saver in (energy saving) position
i tried 1&2 and my battry remains 4 and 1/2 days
and i dont find any sol to prevent camera voice??? even though closing all ring tones
sorry about my english iam 4m egypt

Can someone please help me disable the fake shutter sound for the camera please... or at least point to the page in the manual that I didn't think to goto

Had it for 3 hours, bought it online, my thoughts are:
-good general phone, good weight/size (but heavier than it looks)
-not so good ergonomically, hard to find the right 1 handed grip
-joystick is a pain in the butt, (personally resloved to never ever get a phone with a joystick)
-it's locked up 3 times (camera, camera, settings)
-battery comes half charged, haven't recharged yet
-intuitiative menus/function, user friendly modes and user manual (only needed to use it to switch off T9)
-no asian keys
-weak cam, but as if you expected anything but
-bad ringtones
-haven't tried IR
-ok sound recording, picks up birds very well for some reason...
that's all for now, to summarise, it's a decent phone, great for the price ($100~ in Sydney) but wished i'd got one with no freaken joystick. (anyone wanna trade?)
