I'm trying to disable the sound that the C72 makes when we take a picture but I can't find any instructions in the user's manual or in the internet. Could someone give me this information or simply there is no way to disable that sound? Thanks.

I recently bought this phone from a friend who had vodafone. This Siemens C72 has still 7 months waranty. I like it very much, it's my second phone (i had a sagem myX2-2m bleach...) but i have a few problems. I put in the SIM on orange network, but the internet does not work and neither the MMS. I activated the GPRS and also called at orange and made the GPRS settings, but still it does not work. Before the settings it was error : cannot resolve hostname. after the first settings error : network unavailable, and after that i made the settings again (as orange told me) and every wap site seems to be loading... but stays about 1 minute and error: connection timedout. And i don't know how to use the infrared port. Please help me. You can answer here...or contact me on radu_means_hell@yahoo.com

Nop it has a Video Camera!!!!!!!
Hidden in the MMS menu .
Trie to make a picture in an new MMS ,you'll
notice that there is a option to take Video .
To watch the Video you have to go to :
Setup-Phone setup -Memory assistant-Videos.
I hope i helped. This is not shown in the Manual

The phone works well and has lots of good points but it is really really difficult to open and also difficult to remove the Sim. Unfortunately I won't be able to use it now as I refuse to go with Orange anymore and they want £30 to unlock the phone despite my never having a contract with them just pay as you go which I think is the pits

Well I think for his specifications it is very cheap, but maybe we want very much from it. We must be glad it has something(camera) and if the battery doesn't work we will get new one. If somebody wants to now everything(the ones who have the phone) to read the manual. That is from me!

Just use your head! Its very easy to remove the back cover and the sim card.Removing the back cover is just opposite to nokia set.
To remove the sim just push it gently from behind.

Hi there, I have this phone for 2 days. It seems to be quite good and considering its price, it's a very good acquisition.
the only cons I've noticed are:
- the battery falls out when phone is opened
- it's very hard to remove the back side of the device
- it's terribly hard to pull out the sim card
Concerning the battery that falls each time I open the phone, I'd like to know if someone has the same problem?
