Exelent fone for the money. Simple to use. cheap with all the gadgets of a 70 quid fone. Easy to live with.

Thanks, at least it worked!
Don't know why, but OD doesn't manage to connect correctly any times.. but after 2 or 3 tries it works! ;-)

...Great phone, again, anyway! :-)

This phone is great for its price! Huge Phonebook, organiser and memory for sms and calls!

But i can't use OD_02 for hacking... it gives me an error! Any tips?

You cant disable this sound from the phone.
You need to have a data cabel and suitable software . you need "SiMoCo" and a program that hacks you'r phone : "OD_02"

in reply to all the people that have said that it has the worst camera i must disagree. it has a far! better camera than a lot of the newer phones i have had it is also easy to use.

How do you transfer numbers from the sim card to the phone book after setup? The manual says use "Options" in the phone book but there is no "Options" to select?

I'm trying to disable the sound that the C72 makes when we take a picture but I can't find any instructions in the user's manual or in the internet. Could someone give me this information or simply there is no way to disable that sound? Thanks.

I recently bought this phone from a friend who had vodafone. This Siemens C72 has still 7 months waranty. I like it very much, it's my second phone (i had a sagem myX2-2m bleach...) but i have a few problems. I put in the SIM on orange network, but the internet does not work and neither the MMS. I activated the GPRS and also called at orange and made the GPRS settings, but still it does not work. Before the settings it was error : cannot resolve hostname. after the first settings error : network unavailable, and after that i made the settings again (as orange told me) and every wap site seems to be loading... but stays about 1 minute and error: connection timedout. And i don't know how to use the infrared port. Please help me. You can answer here...or contact me on radu_means_hell@yahoo.com

Nop it has a Video Camera!!!!!!!
Hidden in the MMS menu .
Trie to make a picture in an new MMS ,you'll
notice that there is a option to take Video .
To watch the Video you have to go to :
Setup-Phone setup -Memory assistant-Videos.
I hope i helped. This is not shown in the Manual

The phone works well and has lots of good points but it is really really difficult to open and also difficult to remove the Sim. Unfortunately I won't be able to use it now as I refuse to go with Orange anymore and they want £30 to unlock the phone despite my never having a contract with them just pay as you go which I think is the pits
