bought this phone like a month ago, and i really don't think the battery life is all that bad, for me, i charge the once every three days, as for the back cover, it really is annoying how it squeeks whenever a key is pressed, the camera is excellent in a bright enviroment but noise appears when it's a little dark, the midi and wav tones are gr8, loudly heard, the frimware upgrade makes video ringtones possible, which is a nice function too, works properly, although the video is a little small when played durig a ringtone, the firmware also speeds up the java application, not much but it does, the screen is gr8, clearly seen under the sun, the internal memory isn't enough for having fun, but more than enough if you store stuff periodically on your pc
i guess that's all

It's a good phone. I have similar battery problems but it's not that bad. My joystick also got bad and i had to pull it out with some tools. For the price it's enough. I am looking for a video recorder that can extend the 30 sec. period of recording and a player that playes midis, wav files and to be able to go forward or backward into the song

i bought c75 about 5 weeks ago. i'm very satisfied with the quality, especially the simple design and high quality of display.

the phone doesnt support mp3, that's why i add some midi's into the phone. there are alot of sites which provide free midi's. or just convert the mp3 by using midimaker program (it can b downloaded free from internet)

about the battery:
it will runout in 4 days of medium usage (phone&sms, minimum usage of cam/vid/infrared, i use IrDa to transport files from/to pc);
it will runout for 2 days for heavy usage (max. of cam and infrared)

to save the battery life you can reduce the illumination. mine is 50%.

for you who have bad battery life, i think your battery is the bad one, or may be your's not original?!

No wonder c75 has a short battery life: the big TFT screen just eats energy. It should be considered a trade-off for clear and sharp imaging.
There is a serious technical problem though, with the handling of c75, and that is the 5-way joystick. It could be my own awkwardness, but I simply cannot push it down ("enter") without simultaneously shifting the stick in one of the four directions. First it was OK, but then after a week's use or so, it started to malfunction. It makes even the simplest things like navigating in the menu very annoying, since I almost always activate another function than I have intended. I consider this a serious con against buying a c75: no use of all the gadget functions if you have a hard time just trying to activate them.

Just got this elegent looking phone... The phone is a steal in this price range ( i got mine in Rs 5500 with one year gurantee).
The major drawback i have noticed is the battery life... it doesnt even last for 12 hours of normal usage after full charge.. can anybody help me out.....
Moreover the built is also a concern as the rear cover makes squeeking noise whenever any key is pressed.
I would have preffered a lens cover for protection.
Do Siemens provice external bodies in case the original supplied body has developed some scratchs...?

Great phone, BIG HQ screen, solid body, very complete software package, lacks mp3 support but plays wav files and that is enough for ring tones. Also, the included vga camera takes sharp photos, much better than SE K500's ones.

I got a siemens c75. it's working good. it would be more nice if the Black color would available. is shows a "file system error" when i use the USB data cable to transfer data from computer or install java softwares or games. overall it's a nice set at a affodtable price.
Thanks Siemens
