Well you do NOT get all the extras for this price. Simple mathematics.
About the battery indicator, it doesn't show how much is charged during charging.

My mobile(CF110) doesn't have a batteryindicator showing how much of the battery that has been charged when I'm charging the phone. Is it suppose to be this way or does your phones(your CF110) have this function?

I have no problems either sending or receiving MMS's. However, you need to ensure the following:
1. You have the GPRS enabled on the phone (you should see a "GPRS" sign on the screen). If not, go to "Settings", "Connectivity", and enable GPRS.
2. You have configured your GPRS settings correctly. Check with your GSM provider. I have T-Mobile in the Czech Republic and there are no problems. But this must be configured correctly!

Got one yesterday. Looks good. Performance Ok. Easy to use. Siemens ringtones are not so good. Cable not yet available. There are other cheaper phones available, but I did not mind paying a bit extra just for its looks. Very cute. This site helped a lot in making my decision. If you just call and SMS, go for it.

Buttons work great. Excellent feel, good response. I have larger than average fingers, but it's still no problem with this phone.
Having used the phone now for a week, I can say the following:
1. Telephony features are good. Signal is average (my Nokia 9300 was slightly better).
2. Syncing through the USB port to Outlook (Calendar and Contacts) has worked well. I could not work without alarms for my meetings and conference calls. The CF110 manages this quite well.
3. SMS functionality is good.
4. The desgin is excellent. Friends have commented on how sharp the phone looks.
5. Battery life is my one concern. I call a lot. I have to charge every day after about 3 hours (total) of calls and perhaps 10 SMSs. The battery will last a few days when fully charged and using the phone just for brief calls each day. But if you typically have long call, as I do, be prepared to charge often. One nice feature is the USB cable from Siemens (sold seperately) that allows you to charge while you are syncing. So I typically sync in the morning and evening, which also charges the battery. Thoughts on how to get more battery life out of this phone would be welcome.....
6. GPRS works fine, although I haven't yet tried this phone as a modem. Sending and receiving MMSs is also easy.
7. In general, I love this phone. If I could change anything, I would double the battery capacity. I know this would make the phone slightly bigger, and the weight would increase, too. But if anything this phone is too light, so some added weight would not hurt.
Highly recommended.

I bought the CF110 yesterday morning. So far I love it. It does just what I need, and not much more. Syncing contacts and calendar events with Outlook through the USB cable was easy - it worked the first time. The Mobile Phone Manager software downloaded from Siemens' web site is very nice, and so far appears quite stable. I haven't tried the GPRS yet, but I plan to use the phone as a modem while on the road. Battery is still completely full after one day of heavy use, according to the display.
Forget about old ladies and kids. This phone is perfect for the business professional who calls often, send SMS's, and must sync contacts and calendar events with alarms. All in a 76 gram package smaller than a credit card! The sleek design is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

This phone is exactly what I need. Not all the superflous gadgets that I'll only use once a month maximum. HOWEVER, one key question: does this sync with Outlook? I need both contacts and calendar events (meetings) to sync. And I assume the meeting events sync with the alarm? Without that, I will have to pass. Any experience here with syncing to Outlook??? Thanks!

If you need anything else than be able to call and send/recieve text msgs? This phone is NOT for you. Which means that you are not eligible to comment. You have to compare it to phones with the same features or should I say lack of features.
This is a phone without gadgets like mp3 player, camera etc. A really good phone if you do not need these extra things. If size and design matters, buy this.
To all grumbling tech freaks. When are you going to realize that the more stuff you put in the phone the less quality you will get from these features? A phone is a phone, a camera is a camera, a mp3 player is a mp3 player.

You don't need ir or bluetooth. You download ringtones and phone numbers etc. with a USB Cable. Real easy!!
This is the best "phone" to come along in a long time. I love it!
