I've bought it back in March, 2005. I'd like to let you the pros and cons of it that I've experienced.
Pros.
- Huge sized display.
- I like the folder system of its operating system, gives an good feeling of something being organized. :)
Cons.
- Battery charge remains for max. 3 days.
- Sometimes hangs.
- Max. time of capturing video is 30s though, but it cuts out much less than 30s. Which gets real irritating sometimes, makes me want to...
- Sound quality is quite crappy.
- You only get maximum of 4 MB for multimedia purpore.

I have sent it back for service once due to trying to reset it. My advice DONT use the MASTER RESET button! It totally screwed up the memory. Works fine when not pushed to hard. The memory tends to hang when asked to do to much. Ok Picture quality.

works fine.actually one of the best i've ever used. and if u have a data cable then it is the best. shoot photos, video things and up load it in the computer so u can have more memory everytime. but sometimes it hangs and the screen fades out. when u restart it u'll find everything is back 2 normal.

I have bought this phone almost 1 year ago. In my opinion it is good phone. With standard battery is working 4-5 days when I speak 10 min a day and play 15 in games. Soft is realy good. One minus os couver. I think that is non strong
enough. Wherever it is good phone. Sorry for my english

i read some oppinon to cx70, and i have totally accord with them.i buy my phone ,half year ago, and i very angry to this phone!he have on very slow soft,and the battery can resist 1 day.i buy this phone from shop , and he is new.i disclaim this apparat and i vant change this.and the siemens firm is very weak in this thing

I think you can`t put a mp3 player in your phone,but you can listen ringtones in laf. format!it`s just like mp3 but the sound it`s not so good....for the mp3 player you must have Software for your phone and usb cable:)))

I have the siemens cx70... it's actually pretty cool but i would really like to have mp3 support... I heard that that is possible...Would someone please send me an e-mail with info on how to activate the mp3 player on my phone? please help me...

If you fill the battery with the USB cable, the bayyery lasts 4 days.

Why this phone shuts down itself. From phone settings I chhosed manual and disable the auto shut off but still shuts down whenever it decides. Bad phone...

CX70 really a good phone. Very nice design, the display is very good & it’s VGA camera is good enough. I’m using it & am satisfied with it.
I’ve a ques… When I buy this phone I got USB cable & CD free. Few days ago I download its firmware from siemens website. Now when I’m going to upgrade it through USB cable it shows “no phone found”. But with this USB cable I’m uploading poly. tones, themes, etc through MPM.
Can anyone help me how can I upgrade the firmware? I’ll be grateful to him/her.

Hi! I just got this mobile on (24-11-2005), literally the phone color is too much good even better than NOKIA’s 6600, design and color is also great and attractive option are really good but not as user friendly as nokia’s. Over all Siemens CX70 is too good the only thing which I don’t like is the buttery life, at my site fully charge buttery is consumed in just two days with average usage.
