This phone IS NOT dust/water/shock resistant. However, its price will be lower than S55's. Also, the M55 HAS NOT IrDA and BT. Overall, it's a nice phone but it isn't supossed to replace ME45.

estimated price:250euros. great design, I love it, I just don't understand why doesn't S55 has a 4096color screen like this one...

AB, have you tried M35? It's one of the best phones ever made. I've used it for 2 years (of course with the li-ion batt). Now i plan to replace it with this one! If i only knew the price.

The M55 reminds me of the M35, I didn't like that phone, it was crap I think, but the display of the M55 is 4096 colors which is good for viewing for pictures and camera. I am not interested in buying this phone, great design!!!
