Thanks for your reply. I may have found the solution or at least a part solution. The seller of the Z10 was able to flash the phone so picture imaging would work (send and receive). A software issue was the problem and was solved by replacing it with more appropriate software. This was the main concern. The T-Mobile settings were made and the phone is more functional now though Video Call won't work here. It seems if you buy an unlocked phone you can run into carrier problems! Mark

> In reply to Mark @ 2011-01-20 17:51 from GXMv - click to readWell, Z10 only supports HSDPA on 2100 Mhz. I don´t know what T-Mobile´s 3G frequency is. If it is, for example, 1700 Mhz, your phone won´t work on T-Mobile 3G network. You will have only GPRS or EGDE if available. I have a Z10 here in Southmerica. In my only are just two frequencies for 3G: 850 and 900 MHz. I accepted I will never have 3G in this Moto here. (Maybe there is a flash to make other 3G bands availables for this phone, I don´t know. Anyway, getting things for this model is not easy, it was not a so popular model)

Recently purchased Motorola Z10 here in US and have T-Mobile as carrier. It works but I can't use all the features such as sending a picture or receiving a picture. Video call doesn't work either. It's rumored some features just won't work in the US and the phone won't accept 3G. I've tried getting help from T-Mobile and Motorola tech support to put in the correct settings but nothing has worked. It was suggested it needs to be "reflashed" as there is probably a software incapatability. I LOVE this phone. Can anyone PLEASE offer a solution and tell me what I need to do??? Mark

Hi
just wondering if anyone else has random issues with this phone not letting the caller hear the user. I have to reboot the phone several times before I can either make calls that others can hear my voice or vice versa....poor keypad too, to small for my fingers...what a pity yet again from Moto...

Nokia phones I have used: N70, N73, N78, N80, N81, N95
Sony phones I have used: Z500i, w800i, W810i
Samsung: T809, LG CU500, Viewty KU990
Motorola RAZR V3, L7, V3X and Z10
Nokia has great symbian and interface. Also has great battery life. Later Nokias may have high MP camera but the more features the slower it gets. Secondary camera becomes useless if they are not VGA videocall resolution especially that U.S.A. does not have 3G videocalling.
Sony phones had the best camera and great design at first. But later there are too many choices and all looked like random improvements.
Samsung, cheap and fair. So is LG.They're both simple The LG KU990 had great 5 MP camera but not very good focus and flash is very uselss.
Most motorola cameras aren't very sharp. But for the Z10 had quick camera access and has better primary camera than that of N80. However, it is pricey. I was able to get mine for $65 used off eBay but I think no one will ever sell this phone that price again.
The keypad is very hard to press though. Sometimes when you try to press the camera shutter you might as well press the volume button. But again, great camera, great flash. I hope it had the regular motorola interface though.
