My friend let me borrow his phone (XT 720) for a few days. At first, I was impressed, but the more I used it the less impressed I became. The touch sensitivity of this phone is a serious flaw I think. I mean you barely touch the screen and all things start happening. You can end up pressing a lot of buttons without even realizing it. Two calls ended up getting disconnected because my finger touched god knows what button while I was talking. Putting the phone against your ear will do the same, and you will end up pressing some button inadvertently. I once muted the phone -holding it against my ear triggered the "hold" button- without even realizing it while talking to someone, which caused them to hang up because they couldn't hear me! Yes, the screen will turn off in a second or two once you're talking but even the slightest movement will turn the screen back on and again, let the phone touch your ear and you WILL end up pushing some buttons. THIS IS ONE DAMN SERIOUS AND ANNOYING FLAW that makes this phone useless IMO. Don't believe me ? Try it for yourself. That alone made me decide NOT to buy it as a flaw like this isn't acceptable.

Also, this phone has some serious overheating problem. Use it for a few minutes and it will get really hot. I've never used similar phone before -I have a sony ericsson 580- and I'm not sure if all phones with big screens get hot too but I'm not sure it's normal for a phone to get that hot.

Another thing, battery life. It's bad. Really bad I think. I know this has a big screen but the screen doesn't stay on the whole time -like when you're talking or using the MP3...- but still the battery drains really fast. My Sony 580 will last a couple of hours while on yellow (the lowest on the battery bar). I don't think this phone will last 4 hours on a full charge.

Another flaw, I don't know if it has something in the settings that you can turn on but this phone will NOT give any warning before the battery is completely dead. Yesterday I was on a long distance call when the phone suddenly died. I knew the battery was low but first, I was expecting it to last a bit longer. Second, I was expecting the phone to give me a warning, and that's why I continued to talk. Well, IT DIDN'T. It just died. My Sony 580 WILL give me several warnings -including while talking- to let me know the battery is dying. Like I said, maybe the XT has some setting to turn the warning on but I doubt it as that should be automatic.

This phone doesn't seem to have a feature that allows you to record calls. I like to have that feature in any phone I buy. I'd expect higher end phones like the XT 720 to have all these basic features.

Also, you'll press the wrong letters while typing unless you flip the phone sideways, which makes the "keypad" less cramped. This phone however does have speech recognition capability though, which is a really nice fancy feature but I don't know how reliable it is.
I'm sure this phone has a lot of good features but unfortunately, the sensitivity things is one big drawback that cannot be overlooked.

This stuff is great.. I just bought it a month ago and am satisfied of it except one thing: battery life. The battery can't live longer than 2 days. But if you have many phone calls or long conversation or browse the internet through this set, then you need to recharge it more often.

I recharge it every night, honestly it is unacceptable.

Generally, despite the battery life, this phone is a great android smartphone... i really don't care about the 2.2 android version...

150MB internal storage is really very low. After installaing few applications, it is showing low memory and cannnot accomodate anymore applications.

E-mail account needs to reconfigure after certian time interval.

Also , slow when using live wall paper.

How does it perform on the Wind network?
