I love many NEC phone, but they are obsolete phone in a great design shell!
Put at least a 2mp and some more feature in their product!

Can somebody please explain to me why NEC would release another I-Mode phone?
Telstra have withdrawn I-Mode, does this mean it wont be coming to Australia, or it will be here running a service that is no longer updated?
Any answers would be really appreciated.

NEC N500iS is the best in a looks comparing to all the mobiles, it's sexy, the design is just too unique and great, i would have bought this mobile if N70 haven't been out cos in N70 there is more pixels than in a nec500...Com'on upgrade it, make it 3.15 or 5 mega pixels in it and upgrade other stuffs too.....but the design should be the same as now.i just love the look of N500iS...Just too great...

n500is is a very unique phone .
i would like for some nec products to have a radio like sunyericsson and nokia. i love nec products.

Dear U2uu,
I have used for 2 years a Sharp GX20 (QVGA 65K screen) and now I use a Sharp 703SH (QVGA 256K screen). I can tell you, despite of the higher number of pixels compared with a QCIF 176x220 screen, that the color depth is almost not noticeable. Just on shadows and dark/bright places of a pic, after jpeg compression, it is noticeable. Not worth to talk about it. Many reviews ignore the screen resolution, imho much more important than color depth. Lastly, the phisical size of the screen has nothing to do with the resolution. The 703SH has a 2 inches screen, whilst the Nokia 6680, 176x220 resolution, has a much larger screen. Even the new Sharp 904SH has a VGA screen (480x640 resolution!) and is smaller than the 6680. That's what I call technology. Put QVGA, Memory card slot, mp3, at least 1.3mpx camera, 3G/WCDMA, bluetooth, and then you can say it's a good phone. The NEC of this page lacks most of this features by far.
