This phone is one of the most toughest cellphones ever and very dedicated and a long survivor is still have one in-spite of all the other phones i had i never throw this one away and it's still here today 2012.I really believe that this phone should continue and the parts be continued for those that still confide in theirs.Tough durable phones like this should still be sold and on the market but a cheaper rate.

I had this phone and 300 h standby time is wrong about it . I used to charge it every 13 days.

Superb phone by Nokia . They have no other model like this . So simple , hard like a rock . I love it

I have been using the Nokia 1108 (similar to the Nokia 1101 but with a flashlight)since Dec 2005. Excellent entry level phone, still going strong. Has withstood shock impacts after falling from the table. Simply an INCREDIBLE phone from the Nokia stable. Like they say "Lambi race ka ghoda" meaning 'A horse that can last the long distance race'. Nokia's current phones should have the 'sturdiness' of this phone.

All one needs in a basic phone is reliability.
Still using it. Have forgotten how many years ago I bought it. Because of the 1101 my next phone will be a Nokia.

Best phone of all time, the flashlight and snakeII was everything you needed on a phone. It was very confortable to write sms and had a very quick response. If nokia made a newer identical version adding only music capability and a decent camera it would be perfect.
