note that tyhe GU87 is the same as the GD87. its just the US version (as far as as I am aware)

Panasonic does software for this phone. you can download it from their website. they dont make it obvious and it took me around 30 mins to find it through google and other websites. Panasonic are being real bastards. ( pardon the french) but here is the address for the PC editir tool. hope it helps.

hi there it is a good phone and one of the first with very high picture quality. but memory is bad and I can't find any software for the phone cause it just switches off when I press the answer buttom so to answer the call. and where can i find a shop that has a battery and a data cable or infrerred software for my PC. please help thank you!!!

well i have this fone, my cuz gave it 2 me from germany... i have a computer IrDA device for it and it allows me to transfer files from my PC to the fone, but it won't let me transfer files from my fone to the PC.. i it sed that its blocked... its annoying me bcoz i want to make more space in my fone! can any1 help?

Full housing with screw driver and all from ebay UK. the guy ships fast (this is not auto-promotion, is not me seelling anything, thats why I only stated "ebay"). I got a full black housing alooks NICEE!!!! :)

This mobile fone is durable...but...
Not user friendly... imagine when browsing the name in your fonebook, you need to scroll until you get the name you want...unlike in nokia... what a stuff... camera is good...but you can't develop it... it pixelised.
Where can i find the housing for this unit? please help me

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it 8 for the camera, sound and display qualities. Can anyone please tell me where I can get full housing replacement online? And also what does the cellphone icon on top of the phonebook icon (bottom left hand corner) mean? How to get rid of it?

Very nice looking phone! The main difference between this cellphone and the Samsung V200C is that it DOES NOT have the choice of answering or not answering a call just by opening the cellphone.
ie. with the Samsung V200C you can set it to answer the call if you OPEN the phone or set it up so it prompts you "accept / reject" call.

I have a panasonic gd 87 and my opinion is that it is one of the most lasting phones ever.I'ts verry good made, from good materials and the only problem that cold appear is the change of case after a long time use! Good job Panasonic ! Keep it up !
