Hello everybody,
I have Philips w626 phone and I am not able to connect it to my PC. I have trained a lot of soft for android phones for connecting to PC like 91assistant or Mobiledit 6.1. etc.
The phone itself is not so bad. But the producer is not providing any kind of PC suit for connecting the phone to PC. A user should look through various soft for connecting Philips w626 to pc but no luck.
Currently I am not able to transfer my contacts SMSes and other data from my old phone into Philips w626.

So it’s great problem to connect Philips w626 to pc. In practice it’s impossible as there is no pc suite provided by manufacturer.

If you want know anything i am ready to answer.

It works without problems.
With normal usage (1h talking, browsing, playing games)

> In reply to Guido @ 2012-02-24 21:11 from naJZ - click to readHello Guido,
good reviews from you about the phone, thank you very much!
One big disatvantage of these MTK-chipsets is the poor implementation of the bluetooth-stack. This lead to very annoying experience for the user.
Especially BMW cars do not work accordingly with these MTS-chipsets. After pairing (which is OK) every connection is OK but every call from the 2. connection is dropped or cannot be heard. I've tested many Dual-SIM-phones with MTK6573 and with many newer BMW (from 2010), the conection allways is problematic.

If you could test if the Philips reacts OK with the hands-free equipment of some BMW-cars, it would be great. To all others: be awared! The perfect phone is trashy if you cannot connect it to the handsfree.

Regards
Blue

> In reply to pedram @ 2012-02-11 18:19 from HIqR - click to readHello,

Sorry that it took so long for me to reply.

My phone ( Philips W626 ) has arrived.

Some tips and trics: Order the phone at Etotalk.com !! This site works more than fine, the contact with this company is as well more then fine and above average. When you order your phone order it with normal delivery. I ordered my phone through DHL and you more money for a small differce in the delivery time. Do not order the leather bag for the phone. Although it's only 4.99 it's not worth that money.

The W626

Excellent telephone !!! Everything works perfectly. I am using a Dutch sim and a UK sim card. No problems what so ever. An excellent telephone to buy and a perfect telephone to buy regarding cost - performance. The person within Etotalk who adviced me to buy the Philips W626 and not the Motorola xt531 was very honest and has proven to be an excellent employee of Etotalk to give me this advice.

If anybody has any specific questions than i am more that happy to answer those questions !!!

Ciao, Guido
