WHAT'S UP SHARP?
Why should I choose you and not Panasonic SA7? Only because you have garbage quality video call (which is not in the U.S. anyway) and because you have a card slot????

No, I don't need a card slot on a phone!
I need great batterry performance for my bluetooth, and strong, stylish durable design. That's why I choose Panasonic!!!!

WHAT DO YOU NORMALLY GET FROM A SLIM PHONE?
-Small batterry capacity
-Unconfortable phone holding
-Low earpiece sound quality
-Unusable Bluetooth (because of small batterry)

I want to buy a phone but I don't know which..I like this one but I have doubts about it: the trasference of photos to a computer it's easy?; how many days battery keeps alive?; and about camera quality?is it good?
I apreciate that you answer me as soon as possible!I need a phone urgently!

my friend changed his phone from 903sh to 705sh....and he regret about the change... well the only thing which is good about this phone is the slim part..no other but i do think that 903sh is a whole lot better than 705, 904sh...

I recently left Japan and when I cancelled my cell (a 705SH), they took the SIM card so I'm unable to view all my saved mails and pictures. Is there any way to access these files? Do I have to unlock it to do this? Thanks and sorry if this is an uninformed question.

dis 705sh is available in hk know as sx633, only sell in smartone-vodafone stores.the price in hk is bout $4000 which is almost 400euros. ppl can check out http://www.smartone-vodafone.c...2.jsp?id=500
smartone-vodafone will unlock the fone for 800HKD. the fone lang can be either english or chinese

Hi Guy,

I think that you must have the Sharp 770SH not the 705SH cos the 705SH is sold through Vodafone Japan and isnt unlockable 1st, you will need to get network information from your service provider.

Did you know that this phone will change from a Vodafone 705SH to a =SoftBank 705SH?? Softbank will take over vodafone KK on the 1st october and these new handsets are going on sale 19th Aug i have seen but i wouldnt imagine that we will see them until october.
This is the same with all sharp and toshiba phones

- Vodafone 904t - Softbank 904t
they have changed the colours on the phone, the Vodafone 904Sh was Black, Violet and Blue but the Softbank 904SH will be White, Pink and Navy Blue

Hi Tim,

What do you mean when you say that the device is unlockable???

I have a device here in Israel, and an Israeli sim-card, and I can use it to establish a simple phone call. What I didn't succeed to do is to create an HTTP connection to the internet.

Any ideas?

902SH is ASV too :P

902SH is 2.4" in size though as where the 705SH is 2.0" or 2.2". That'll make it look much finer.

I felt like that with my old 802SH (2.2" ASV) and the 903SH (2.4" ASV).

Hey, forget about 905SH all together. There is no unlock for it as it is only single-mode WCDMA. You can't even roam on the damn thing (source: vodafone.co.jp). Reasons for this is the incompatibility with foreign TV signals. It could overheat and damage the phone.

705SH is sweet, though I did hope it's size would be smaller. I saw the 770SH in the UK and was quite shocked that it's only slim, but not necessarily smaller.

Other than that SHARP phones are the bomb! The quality and easy of use can certainly compete with the overrated Nokia.
Let's not even talk about camera quality...

this photo does not do the phone justice...saw it today at Smartone in HK and it's not only slim as a Panasonic VS7, but comes with a very smooth, polished finish (like the LG chocolate, especially the black version of this phone). Also, the screen is absolutely fabulous....sharp has adopted its Aquos LCD tv technology to the screen of this phone, so in fact even though it's only QVGA resolution, it looks markedly better than my 902sh :) Good job Sharp!

If you are wanting a Sharp slim phone then get the 770SH, this one is fully unlocked without some not so good Japanese locks and aplications on it. 705 904 804 905 arnt unlockable yet, We will see what the not so far away future holds for us 904 owners ;)

i juz wonder if the 705Sh is the same as 770sh ?? i have looked through the specifications of both cellphones and they are pretty similar for outlook or functions .. but the camera s different though . btw.. is 705sh available for sim unlock ?? otherwise it cant be used in anywhere .. .T_T

Im trying to use this phone with an Israeli sim card. How can I connect to the internet?? When I go into "Vodafone live" I get the following error: "Network connection information is not acquired. Please retrieve Network Information First".

What should I do now?
