It's almost the perfect phone: Lightweight, solid, jog dial.
But the battery-life is not too long, and the speaker is not really loud:

I've been using it for some time and anybody who tells you it sucks is defenetly wrong! Also, it's not ideal, it has some details missing, but it's all compensated with great look and no weight.
Thigs I like the most: design, active flip, great screen with 4 shades of gray, answering machine, POP3 email, great schedule, great phonebook with 500 items space and icon for groups and different ring for every group, details...
Thigs I don't like, but don't care too much:
You have to read email on-line (no download or save option), battery doesn't last too much (2.5 days for me)
Advice: Sony had a lot of software upgrades, many bugs were corrected, so check and make sure your phone has latest software (6.4.7). Code for this is: *#release# Many of the problems people talk about does not exist in latest versions

Nice phone, lots of features but too light and plasticky, poor battery life and distorted earpiece.

Using Sony for about 3 months, I would say its a great phone, but there is one thing that I could not find in this sery, that CMD Z5 does not include a 'Voice Dial' feature.

Hello. This has got nothing to do with the CDM Z5 but why cant i find anything about my sony phone (its a SONY CD 5E). Is it discotinued?

I love my little sony cmd z5. I bought it 3 months ago and I'm a bit worried because sometimes after charging the mobile, it refrains from switching on.
