Some WILL have defects. It's only normal. Remember, they manufacture a lot of these to keep up with demand. Also, 6 months? You can still have that replaced. I know I can. I had to replace my C510 back last year for a defect.

the camera light on side comes on itself and then it turns off the phone. i have tokeep taking out the battery and then try and start it again. why is this happening only had phone 6months.

> In reply to pollphone @ 2010-02-27 15:22 from PS6ji read somewhere that if you wet your phone (drop it in the water or washing machine ;) ) you can put it in a basin of uncooked rice (cover the whole fone and i think you have to open your fone up so all surfaces are exposed).....it apparently extracts water from the fone..havent tried it myself but you can try... :)

To all those who are looking for a good all-rounder phone.
The C901 simply gives the best bang out of your buck! Excellent camera (Cybershot, why else?) and audio (Comparable to Walkman phones).

had anyone noticed that whenever u just restart the phone and try to search a contact after your're done with the text, it takes a long time for the contact to load. But once it loads, theres no problem after that. it only happens when u restart the phone. theres no problem with contacts except messaging contacts.

Using the greenheart version for a month now, this phone is everything I hoped for. Amazing camera, very high build quality, crystal clear screen. If you don't mind the WiFi absence and Google Maps, buy it.

bad thing about this phone is it doesnt hve a WIFI, the camera is good well i think much better 2 use nokia 5630xpressmusic

hi guys, there was nothing to tell ya but last three night, i'm accidently put my c901 along my shirt into washing machine and the machine operated about 1min before i realized (unusual washing sound).
then i stop the machine and pull out my phone, quickly dried all over the body and inner side of ma phone.but still then it can't activate at all. everything is so quiet like its completely extinct.
intermission..
we dont have to lose(MLTR), so i put it besides ma window to get all daylight n sunshine. for me, at least it'll died with more dignity.
struggling, it's miraclely work and ready to continue 'her' macho duty. cool with no unfunctional thing at all. now i using it back after 2 day with nokia 1290-another great phone too.
i just thinking if i take a good care of my c901, maybe it can last for 10 years or maybe at least near that. thing must be different for now but i'm still glad if i can use it for 1 more year.
lets hope, hand down.....
