> In reply to bdc @ 2011-12-19 03:49 from K6mb - click to readGalaxy Y is an android ginger bread phone with 800 mhz processor, not a bada phone as commented by a fellow. so if u r getting a chance to get it a cheaper price than u should grab this oppurtunity if u have searched for galaxy y well & find it satisfying.....

> In reply to bdc @ 2011-12-19 03:49 from K6mb - click to readDon't u even think about it!!! The OS on Galaxy Wave Y (S5380) is Bada, so u won't find too much apps as u'll find for Windows Mobile, and theresn't many intel about this system like X1 has.

If u dig a little bit more u'll find out what BadaOS can do, 'coz WM everybody knows!

I miss windows smartphone with its stylus and customisations. I love getting cab files and installing them. Along with Nokia N900 these phones get you thinking and learning.

> In reply to bronz @ 2011-12-13 09:09 from 3qFI - click to readProbably u never used a touchscreen device before this one with a resistive screen, otherwise u wouldn't say such thing. Try some older devices (like HTC Kaiser, TouchHD, ...) and then compare with your X1, u will see the diference.

About Android... it's quite normal, after some time using its starting slowing the system down, so u may considerer reinstall it or at least Hard Reset your device.

I'm using this phone for more than 2 years now, but now it's a bit slow...
I have android 2.2 on my SD card and can you two OS with this phone,
Android is having problem with kernel it is good but often with some keyboard freezing... Otherwise I get 610 score in quadrant better than Samasung galaxy 3 GT5800.
But iGO navigation in windows is working very well i use it often when i travel somewhere.
It is good phone with a bit slow processor and not so responsive resistive touchscreen.

> In reply to zeeshan @ 2011-11-26 08:41 from Hxg1 - click to readcan, but you'll need to use the headset. built in microphone on the device is non-functional. its by design because microsoft never made the effort to fix their shortcomings on winmo operating system. its not a defect of skype nor x1, so I heard. you'll have to carry the headset around if you use skype often.

> In reply to zeeshan @ 2011-11-26 08:41 from Hxg1 - click to readYes, Skype is fully compatible. There is a panel (a special replacement for the homescreen, in case you didn't know) which is an official Skype client. It can even use the front-mounted camera for video calling.
