Hi Friends
I am Arun From Tamil Nadu, India.
I found yellow tint issue problem in my phone.
Before I walk into service center i would like to know what solution given by Sony for this issue to you.
Whether they changed display or Replaced new handset or just they serviced your mobile and gave back.
And how long its taken to solve the issue.
I dont have a spare mobile. And this phone supports only micro sim, I cutted my sim to micro sim card size.
Dont know what to do.
Suggest me what to do

@ sunilverma.ce

obviously you got a faulty unit or a factory defective unit, return it and have it replaced.

I purchased this phone on Sunday and the very next day the troubles started for me, the Camera not working, the color displays are not working the calls drop everytime... I am just frustrated with the smartphone, it's nowhere related to smartness.

Anybody listening???

I used many kinds of smart phone. HTC, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Samsung. This is the best out of all. Very fast battery charging and last longer. With All previous phones I have to think twice about the battery capacity before open the display. With this I never think about the battery. No freezing. Display superb. Sensitivity superb. Sounds very clear; very very friendly phone. Thanks Sony.

> In reply to doubt @ 2012-05-28 16:02 from X0%{ - click to readThe touch buttons although have been criticized all over the internet, but the fact is that people are not used to such buttons. I have SXS for over a month and i don't have any issues with the touch buttons, in fact i like them as there is no accidental touch/triggering while playing games!. For 100% accuracy just swipe your thumb over the dots! One easily learns this while using SXS.

The video demo of Sony Xperia S with ICS (Android 4.0.4) is really nice running smoothly. UI is beautiful, the new gallery is really nice, the walkman app for the music player is just wonderful and a lot more things. I really can't wait to upgrade my SXS. The wait is really worthy as Sony is giving us a decent upgrade. Hopefully, the upgrade roll-out is earlier than schedule.

I am writing this review after two days of using my own xperia s!
I would just like to say it's an amazing phone, screen is just excellent and UI is so simple and nice! I also don't know why people are complaining about battery, for me it's so fast its been great and lasted a hole day, and they say it even gets better over time. So far there are no bad points on this phone, except then seems to be a little wait on downloading certain apps, though I can handle it.
I was put on the spot between this phone and the HTC one x which is the new HTC quad core flagship model. And yes that phone is excellent, and sometimes I don't know if I have made the wrong choice, Butt seriously I don't think they're is a wrong choice, there both fast and nice and couldn't even tell the difference in speed even though the benchmarks results are alot higher on the b one x, though what made me choose the xperia s was its great screen and its easyness to hold compared to the one x. Also people say the xperia s is battery is bad, the one x is ever worst. Anyway enough ranting, if your deciding for the xperia s. GET IT! The camera is also nice. And I can't wait to see how fast and good the new ICS UPDATE will make this phone,
Anyway I hope this is clear and helps people decide.
I write another short review after s little more use!

> In reply to advice @ 2012-05-27 22:14 from fwM1 - click to readAgreed that one X photos are not so good (esp a lot of noise due to oversharpening perhaps), but if u compare the phots captured by Sony Xperia S (and i mean real life photos), given on various websites/blogs with galaxy s2 or One X camera samples u will definitely see what i mean, and please no more photo compare tool by gsmarena, read what gsmarena itself states:
"Since cameras are optimized to shoot real-life scenes and not charts, the GSMArena Photo Compare Tool isn't good for comparing exposure accuracy and dynamic range (printed black and white does not compare to a bright light source and a dark shadow)."
That being said, there is another flaw in your comparison. A comparison of photo samles is valid only if taken of same subject at same time and all gsmarena photo samples obviously wouldn't be taken at same time (thereby altering the lighting, distance, even focus if dim light, which seems to be in case of SXS samples, etc).
Hence, I don't beleive this so called photocompare tool to be reliable at all. Besides, U should not judge any comparison/technical or otherwise solely based upon one website/tool.. cheers!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-05-27 19:48 from u7Eg - click to readgsmarena and many other tech blogs said that htc s camera is better than the one x,for me i compared htc x camera with xperia s and the s2 and i didn't like the photo and the video quality that i capture with the one x,i tried this on the compare tool of gsmarena and it gave me the same result, and i believe gsmarena comparison tool is very accurate .

> In reply to Cell @ 2012-05-27 17:03 from Sr{} - click to readmy current phone is the xperia pro but i am not a sony fanboy as u are and i am not a fanboy for any company because i don't care,i am sure about the gsmarena link that i gave u and i am sure it is the xperia s and not the x1,the problem in my xperia pro camera appears clearly when use gsmarena grey chart and u choose the grass image u will see that on the s3 ans 4s the grass looks very realistic but on the pro u will find a lot of black dots these dots are also available on the xperia s ,any way the issue in xperia phones only appears when try to watch your photos fully zoomed, and my xperia pro camera is one of the best camera i have ever used.
every one knows that ps3 is better than ps2 and the xbox, but in camera the larger mega pixel it does not mean better camera but it means larger image size,so sometimes u will find 5mp cameras give better image quality ,nicer colors and less noise than 8 mp cameras and this also applied to 8mp vs 12mp cameras.
