> In reply to lalalaboy @ 2009-08-02 13:06 from tVuM - click to readHey lalalaboy:

Have u used this processor in WinMo? I do some basic things but also use music making programs like "Audiobox" and "MixxMobile".

I'm wondering if this would be too much of a step down from my PDA's 400 mhz XScale processor (circa 2004).

Anyone got an idea? Thanks.

I agree with Mr FFS.

Peeps. Do you not realise that if a manufacturer wishes to survive in this dog eat do world, it must caterer for all markets. that includes the advance multi tech phones you love and want to the BASIC phone for the light user or who wishes to pay low tariff rates. You cant judge a phone by its capibility. You have to put into account its value and what market it is aimed at!?

This may not be much better that your averatge PDA but for its spec it is very cheap!! Worth it!

FFS Can't any of you read!!! It's not high on spec because it is a BASIC MDA phone.

Whats with all you haters??? Companies arn't making you purchase their goods. If you don't like it then don't sit there saying it's the worst phone ever when 9/10 the device isn't even on the market unless it's the usual asian knockoff.

ohh my i saw this and wanted to read more untill i saw the cpu specs htc needs to stop using the texas instruments omap cpu u cant crank it up any more then about 240mhz witch SUCKS - i used a glofish eten x500 rebranded by pharos as the gps600 had a 400mhz cpu you needs to exp the diff b4 you say itdoesnt matter esp when using custom browser like opera or tryin to run widgets and music players and things plus ull deff notice lagg time while doing anything esp while accessing the settings menus -

nice look but it looks too much like the htc touch come on now - plus i wouldnt mind better buttons i dont see myself having much fun playing an nes emulator on it plus omap ti 200mhz cpus cant handle touch flo very nice and if i was to get this phone i would deff have to redo the firmware to a vanilla rom to free ram and rom memory up as it doesnt have much of that either basicly this is the exact same phone as tmobiles old mda only diff is no appearnt keyboard makes it slimmer diff case and a slightly newer os everything else is the same as 4 years ago

for crying out loud the htc aka tmobile shadow has somewhat alot of ram and rom for a non touch screen phone and by far was the best i had exp in its class for recording videos

hence why its called the mda basic
only thing i see i would favor this phone for would be the fact thats a its a pda and may fit htc touch cases idk and the semi okay manilla interface altho im sure it gets old fast
