Hi there! I'm George from Athens, Greece. I've had M65 for the last 4 months. I am disappointed. The phone has several software problems; e.g. I've found the phone switched off with no reason. The menu stucks. And the battery lasts just for a couple of days. Getting back to Nokia...

I am from singapore and had just bought this phone recently... to test out siemens phone (I was using nokia phones all along). Was really surprised by the user friendliness and its user interface. Now then I realised that nokia isn't the only one with good user interface. Siemens phone is comparable if not exceed nokia. No problem sms, search phone book etc...
only two shortcomings:
a) Could hear an echo while using the phone
b) Poor batery life (I am getting about 1.5days with calls and sms [not heavy user])
Anyone could help pleaase help to post some comments??? Thanks...
Next dreamphone.... siemens M75!!!

i'v heard nothing but bad stories about this phone. i'v even had a play with one and wasn't that impressed. i think i'll stick to the nokias.

M65 was the phone I was looking for...I'm happy to have it by now..The camera is great and very detailed.

Well, M65 is a good phone in a kind. I've been using it for about 11 months now. There was a problem in the camera that its quality, lighting wasn't very good like in Nokia phones. But after i reinstalled the phone software it is clear and good. But still in the video camera i cant record a full 30sec clip even there's enough space also. It stops in about 20sec and when i play it it's about 9-12sec(Before i reinstall the software the maximum was 15sec but after that it became 30sec and worked well for some time) . What can be the problem? And cant we watch t.v with this phone? Can you guys answer these please?

Is there anyone who can tell me if the infrared interface can be used also for tranfering files from a PC to the m65 and vice-versa?

I'v just bot the siemens m65 the phone is amazung i'm suprised from his performance,the camera,video,sofrver (evrything at all) IT'S GREAT don't heasitate to buy you will be satisfajt,

My Siemens M65 has a verypoor battery life. I live in India which itself is like "outdoors" as they say. I get 10hours backup with 1 1/2 hrs talktime maximum. I tried switching off and charging, charging for 10 hrs. They changed the phone. Its the same. The phone is good but for the battery.

Advice for those complaining about battery. You need to completely drain the battery (until phone can't start) then recharge it with the phone switched off for about 10 hours.
I did that to mine and now lasts about 4 days (including talking).
I also disabled GPRS, I think it eats more battery with that enabled.
Apart from all that, java games eats alot of battery, after all it's a mobile phone not a nintendo.
