the siemens mc60 is not a bad phone but outdated today , i only use it as a reserve gsm for if my main gsm (N73 nokia) brakes down..
the phone it self can withstand a fall , mine fell out of my hands but is still works, the menu is simple the options are simple too , but do not forget this phone is about the first phone with a camera on the market at introduction
the screen is basic and colourfull the sound quality is fair and good , the ringtones are changeable but no mp3 nor very loud but in a normal situation i can hear the ringtones , the speaker funtion works good
it is simply a siemens german engineering does what it does and nothing more ..
takl time is fair (from experiences in the past , the accu's are not so good from siemens , better buy imitation they last longer and are way cheaper too
unlike other modern phones it is quite a quick charger

I remember having this phone, long time ago 5 years go I think.
I actually wanted the nokia 6600 but couldn't get it and got this phone.
I still have it, can't open it anymore and dont know where I kept it, its somewhere at home!!!
My current phone is the nokia n97, times have really changed, mobiles phones are changing.
This is still a nice cute phone, nowadays phones are getting bigger and bigger, at that time phones were smaller.

I loved this phone when I had it maybe 5 years ago. It is very small, and it had features not seen in its price class when it came out, like the camera. The built-in speaker (which is also used for calls) broke, so I sold it, otherwise I would probably still have it... :)

This was the first phone I bought, It has been with me for like 6 years now. Only had a little problem with it once but apart from it its working fine, its 'rock-solid' dropped it like a million times but is still working. Perhaps the best phone when it comes to durability.

Ofcourse they were strong and reliable - they didn't have much that could actually go wrong because there wasn't MUCH to go wrong!

Siemens were the best phones! i've had like 10 phones after this one, and this one was the best. Even comparing it with BB and nokias (of course not talking on functions). But siemens were strong and reliable phones!

I bought this phone 1st quarter of 2005 and requested a technician to convert it to an open line since it was locked with SMART. something must have gone wrong 'coz it's no longer charging. I still keep it with me just in case i can stumble on someone who knows how to fix it. any help?

Anyway, just hide this phone in a drawer, to remind you of good times, and buy something new and decent, like SonyEricsson, SAMSUNG or NOKIA.
