I have this cell and I really enjoy it. What I like best is the blue backlight, becuase I myself like he color blue.

After one mounth my S40 died forever! They say after 3 weeks (siemens service) that it's a flash-crash! I'm verry furious !This is the worst mobile phone I ever seen! I am absolutely NOT SATISFIED with the S40! This isn't a Siemens, it's a worstest Bosch
Do yourself a favour - buy another phone

This phone is well designed but the software is such a rubbish! after 2 months i bought this phone, the software started to have a lot of problems. 1st, the inbox of the phone loss! how can i phone without a inbox and cannot read the sms from friends? 2nd, when want to create melody, it comes out "not enough memory"! how can a phone stated that can compose 20 melodies cannot compose any melodies??? i really scare thee will be lot problem coming out! This phone is the shame of Siemens company!

Great, cute little phone. I dont, however, like the fact that you cannot download graphics or even ringtones to it. Hopefully in the future this will change.. *crosses fingers*

This phone is perfect.Very good signal and friendly menu. It have the best calculator. I love this S40.

I bought my s40 1 year ago and I had to change it 6(!!!) times. There were Software- as well as Hardware-failures!
Today I got my 7th one. It has a new firmware installed (5.0.0). I'm curious if it is better than the last ones and for how long this one will work properly...
I am absolutely NOT SATISFIED with the S40 although I prefer Siemens. But it isn't even a Siemens - in fact it's a Bosch
Do yourself a favour - get another phone... :)

How do I get ringtones, logos, screensavers, etc. ready for download?
And once downloaded, how do I transfer to the handset via datacable?
