i cant believe no one has said how bad this phone is... when i turn it off the settings completely reset! i end up with that annoying default ringtone.... (thank you for your time)

just 1 thing i wont to point out can u see the names of the phones s65 sl65 s55 they are copying mercedes-benz s65 amg sl65 amg s55 amg thats all mercs ideas siemens are just takeing away the amg part from mercedes-benz ideas now that is funny.

its the 3rd s65 ive had ,and it still serves me well, if you want mp3 you cand find it on russian or czech sites. you should look for firmware 58 to update , crack the codes with papua utils and patch it with vklay patching utility the mp3 palyers name is mp3 elf player the elf are the software that use the mobile to process information ,good luck !! its worth it i have a 1gb card and 900mb of mp3 music that i can play fairly good + headset and your pimpd:D

although this has many features,this has no mp3 player but i saw many videos in which s65 is playing mp3 files.kindley tell me from where can i download mp3 player for this bull sheesh

i really love the phone, but there is only one thing that makes it not to complete &compete with other phones that is the mp3 player. About games it cant collect sis games but others are good. pls i dont know where i can download any mp3 software that is compatible with the phone

BenQ-Siemens is way better than this....Excelent image, more memory, support micro sd cards, better camera, etc...

Can anyone tell me if this phone has the option to "lock" the keypad to prevent dialling out unwanted numbers? Ive just got it from someone else, but no instruction manual.

To all of you who have criticeised this handset I'd like to describe how it feels like to live every day with a siemens s65. This phone has a mediocre camera, mediocre display, mediocre multimedia functions. The only thing i can complain about is the display. I don't care about the lack ofg mp3, radio or camera. It's a buissnes phone and my god it has features that you would expect to find in a symbian phone. Example: survival dictionary, calculator running in java, giant call history, self tester for buttons and camera. I know you will say you can't compare this to a symbian and you might be right but just think about it: if you want a reliable quality product with no 3rd party software drama ( doesn't need to run in background ) this is the phone for you. Nokia say that their e50 model is the succesor of the legendary 6310i. I have 2 s65's for about a year now and I can say if you want a quality discrete reliable serious buisness-like phone this is it. Forget that the s65 is old as a model. The design still looks fresh and not exciting, but somewhat intriguing. The upside is that it's dirt cheap compared to all other upper class phones. The design is great the keypad is brilliant the whole quality feel is impresing still after 4 years from the market launch. Battery life is also modest. I'm not saying this phone is better than the new offerings, that would be stupid. But if you were a siemens fan and want an original siemens ( before benq took over) the s65 is the greatest.

Hi Friends bought this phone at the last of 2005 its a great phone and i really loved it its very easy to use Address book is very very good camera quality is also very good the only problem that i faced is i cant connect it to my computer to save my contacts few days later cell phone snatcher's snatch it form me at gun point m so worried about my address book and picz

The set is nyce. It only play wav file but only 8 bit per second and the voice quality is not good If you wana better sound Convert the music file into wav file and with the help of equlizer stop the beat and increase the Tre. so that we can get good voice.arslan@arslan.arslan
