Siemens S65 is a very nice & beautiful mobile phone
I read many of reviews posted here...
This phone is having a good camera* for day light only
Not for night, then how will someone have good photos{users should know this}
It's working fine, am using this phone for more than 2yrs.

Hi Guys,

I need some help. Can anyone kindly to tell me what is the hard rest code for siemens s56 please.

I need to delet all the data on my phone i.e. phone book and pics etc before i can sell it.

About the Siemens S65:

- The camera lens has no lens cover, so the lens will always be dirty, so your pictures will always be horrible unless you clean the lens every time :-(

- The setup for using this phone for surfing the web does not work :-( I also get no MMS, no java downloading etc.

- People recommend upgrading the firmware. To do that you need to buy an expensive cable :-(

- No MP3 :-(

- No radio :-(

I bought the phone at the end of 2006 for a very low price at an end life sales. I was atracted for the 1.3 Mp camera but in 3 months I sold it very dissapointed.No MP3 ands still memory card????... The quality of the photos is very, very low. Photos made with VGA Sony Ericsson k700 are much better. The design is quite good, but if you want to write a SMS, is very difficult. It was my first Siemens and I think the last after Nokia bought the German group. My qualification: 9 for design, 8 for features, 5 for performance.

how can i play mp3 song. if i need any mp3 player as like real player, winamp so then inform me from where i get that by free download, and games and multimedia software.application file and how to install the files.is it possible to plat mp3 with s65 please reply me.

My phone is blocked.I receive call but I can not make a call unless restart the phone.The phone code is not working.What can I do?

Before I use Nokia cellphone , now I has just bought a siemens S65, please tell me how to copy all phone numbers from sim into cellphone . I put my sim into S65, but it did appear all phone numbers . Why ?

I had the S65 since2004 and it still works well for me.Battery life is short but works like the first day.A gread speaker provides outstanding communication comfort,while the cammera is still a shock to me, but I have no use of cammera(good for me).
I downloaded the firmwares to my phone,and it worked bettter. I think this was a very good idea but I cann't find the firmware site any more. Does any one knows any thing about the site.

I had this phone for a few month Everything was good except:
1: Very bad network reception i lost connetion with the network manytimes.
2:A bad quality camera it's should be 1.3Mp but a VGA camera like the one in nokia 6600's much better.
3:Bulky and slow software.
4:No fm radio nor Mp3 player.
5:Maintenance's very expensive here in Egypt.
6:Short battery life.
what i liked about this phone
1:very good design
2:very good speaker you can her the sound of the caller clearly very good bass
3:Excellent silent alert
4:very durable

Finally i have sold this phone and got a nokia 2310 it's a great phone

i had one S65 , it falt in sea water and had serious problem,sometimes didnt open! by theway, now i am buying new one cause when u got used to this phone (and learn how to use it) u cant give it up! its not a toy,its THE phone!

a really bad thing is camera make too much noise when no sunshine.. need very very bright light to get some great pics..device wit the latest software are stable enough.. then mp3 is not what expected to be popular in their coming year..so if it's only embedded with mp3 player. s65 will be 1 good phone

I have it since 2004, it's the best mobile phone that I ever had, i reccomend it to everyone, Germans "know how"

I bought one in december I posted an older opinion on this forum I complained about it alot it had many flaws but out of the blue it stopped making any problems for me...disatvantages: bad camera on shady and night environments, no mp3, no radio, small display resolution, sometimes software works slow advantages: EVERYTHING ELSE; calendar settings like never seen before, contacts profiles and calculator so comprehensive and complete you would say it's a palmtop. Main + cheaper to buy than a 6230i even if that has better camera and multimedia devices. And if you like the s65's classy and discrete look in the photos you'll love it in real life it's actually quite ergonomic even if you'd think otherwise and the black keys with transparent glass look are exquizite NOT THE GREATEST PHONE BUT DEFENETLY A BARGAIN

S66 is 850/1800/1900, whereas the s65 is 900/1800/1900

This is really bad device....lots of problems with it..... sold it month after purchase...after 2 weeks in service...my problems: bad reception not big problem - good network in Slovakia, terribly slow, hangs often, turning off by itself, lowest row of keys not working from time to time, terribly week battery..barely 1 day is terribly short duration....
Kind of a lot, donīt you think? and I haveīt mentioned everything....

Please DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!

about your problem I dont know if i can be of much help but here goes: siemens have allways had problems with signal in the past or atleast from what I heard; also I had 2 - 3 sl45 and later 2 A50 all of these great phones but sucked with signal and sim reader allways had that damn CARD ERROR message :) this S65 has great signal and keep in mind that it was used 9 months before me so all of them must have great signal reading capabilities I have a nokia 1100 that has worse signal I suggest exchanging the signal unit; ... anyway I took mine to a mobile service and they fixed the keypad they said it could be the circuit board of the key that is busted fortunatelly it wasn't.. they cleaned it and now it works if u say yours has no lights probably you have to replace that certain circuit board; my advice be extra carefull with the autenticity of the part I know for a fact that if it is not original it will melt to temperatures excediing 300 Celsius degrees and in 1 or 2 weeks it wount work again
I bought this phone because I am a fan of buisness phones like siemens s45 sl45 nokia 6310i but the s65 is very difficult to use and maintainance is expensive. It is almoust like you can feel Siemens's lack of founds and logistics when they developed the phone just by using it (i think they made it just before selling to benQ when they were declining) This phone is the Cinderella of buisness mobiles I just like its design and the fact that is twice as cheap as a nokia 6230i. So what I am saying is that we are going to have a lot of trouble with them and if you decide to keep it in the future get prepared for some serious reliability issues
P.S. i took it to the service and now the keys work but it went off a couple of times for no reason and now the end call key loses contact from time to time THIS PHONE IS A BEAUTIFULL NIGHTMARE :)
