To Golden Hand: it is not a renewed S65. it is built on different platform. it is using ATi chip. it is totally differen from S65, CX75 and M75 in many ways..
I can say it is S65 but renewed with some new additions that is all
Seems part of my suggestion was acknowledged & realized by SIEMENS.
I posted it in:
http://gsmarena.com/siemens_sk...s-861p2.php, dated: 2005-03-06 19:53.
Thickness around 18mm, MP3 & AAC support both for ringtones & music player and max 1 GB of memory card (although they don't use SD standard anyway... :-) )
I hope the camera is doing fine, at least better than NOKIA N90. It would be surprise if photo quality is on par with Sony-Ericsson K750i (not in term of max resolution though). So far the menu layout seems promising, more user friendly.
Just needs patient until S75 arrives in Indonesia. Yes, I still use that trusty old Ericsson R320sc, 'cuz I wait for this thing launched here :-p
Hope SIEMENS Mobile Phones still preserve that good built & signal quality now, since been took over by BenQ now (ex named Acer)...
The Keypad looks a bit uncomfortable to use thats why thinkng a lot before buying it.
Nice phone. Does it support DTM? That would really make it the business phone it claims to be.
Ability to multi task on this phone, it really rocks. Heard it'll be available in Singapore on Dec. The ATI chip will affect the selling price of this phone too.
Because Symbian is oldskool rubbish
Nokia invented it, and they can keep it.
I had it on N-Gage, SX1, and then had enough.
I sell phones, and it is without doubt the most unreliable OS a phone could have
As much as I hate to say it, Microsoft have the best OS..... other than individual brands own systems. Siemens menu system is excellent, why bother with crap from Nokia??
I wish if you post a review on this phone to show us the difrrent between this phone and the cx 75 does it realy have multitasking or just u can play mp3 and make some thing else please check it quickly we need a review
I saw the A75 this weekend in Germany
I played around and saw voice dialing!
So if A75 has it why not S75?
S65 design was better and besides,I don't have a clue why siemens cell phones do not support symbian. This is a big imperfection
I thınk design not good and same nokia models better than siemens you must find better one S 75 not looks S65
Looks good, but no a voice dialing and FM radio. It's a pity.
One more hope for a perfect phone failed.
yes, the media player supports background running... so you can type a message and listen to music at the same time. SL75 has the same feature inside but the other handsets of the x75 series do not suport multitasking.
Nice feature! But the look is not so good... Is the media player support background running?
According to a mobile phone magazine, Siemens is joining venture with BenQ. Siemens give the right to BenQ to produce mobile phones for Siemens starting from the 1st of October, for a period of 18 months.
They are keepig the Siemens name/logo on the mobile phone products, but actually they are called BenQ-Siemens.
dear Siemens!I wish you succsses with S 75,unfortunatelly S 65 in my opinion was a gap. I have your gratest hits ME 45 and S55, but S55 is perfect phone with organizer and voice features I never had seen till now.Meanwhile, why do you stop produce these phones?
I am a user of siemens mobiles only, and i want question is there on S75 voice dailing, voice memo, voice notice, voice commands and integrated hands free?
I've read review of CX75, hopefully S75 will come with better main menu icons...
Well Done Siemens!!
