I bought this phone nearly seven months ago and in that time i have had three of them swapping them each time with problems! I've had so many problems with it- first of all i could not get the pictures onto my computer, the second one i got had a faulty camera and would not get of the black and white mode, and all three of them crashed on numerous occasions! I would NOT recommend this phone!I bought it because it looked SO stylish and i loved the swivel camera but little did i know how many problems it would cause me! No wonder it has gone down by £100 on virgin in the last six months!

Hi
Got this phone a few days ago and love the look of it. However I'm having big problems setting up email on it. The manual is really poor. I'd be greatful for some guidance.

Hi Wife has had this phone for just over 1 week and very happy with it. I have had no problems connecting it to my PC I installed the data suite first then pluged in the USB cable and loaded the driver which is on the supplied cd, attached the phone and copied pictures to PC and uploaded some better ring tones. Transfer speeds are not fast but it does get there just be patient when transfering data to from phone. Hope this helps those having problems.

i cant get the pictures onto my PC!! how do you do it??? its not working i cant find the folder of drivers in C/:programes! plz help!

The best way to get pictures from a phone to a PC is via a data link cable. They are about £5.00 and you can get them from most phone shops. They plug into the charger hole on the phone and then into the usb or ethernet port on the PC. I hope this helps you. It is really hard to get data from a Phone to PC via infra-red, Infra-red is better for transferring from one phone to another phone.
P.S The make sure if you do but a data link cable that it is compatible with your phone.

Hi there does anyone know how to add a picture to the phone book so when it rings their picture is seen. I get a square box so i was told it is a picture phone book but spent 3 days trying to find out how to do it........... PLEASE contact me please

hi folks , here are the answers to your problems ,
1. maximum file size per file is 50k you cant copy any thing larger , i reccomend you compress or split files before loading them
2. to remove pen try using screen or baby wipes
3. Drivers are located in the mobile manger folder on C:/programfiles u will find a folder labeled drivers , in one folder you will find a usb driver install this then restart , if this doesnt work , go back to the folder you will see a another folder open it , run the executeable inside , press open ports , close the program , restart. this should fix the problem.
4. You will get errors , if you have a fire wall running wile using the mobile manger aplication , fire

OMG, this phone is really good, other than the fact that,NO1 can seem to get the Pics to go to the PC.And mine has frozen *1* time! My sister has coloured it in (shes 3) and it wont come off ?!? How do you get the pictures off your phone, and into the PC?? My phone came with a disk for installing And a wire thingy migingy. But it still doesn't work. HELP!!

I recently recived this phone as a gift for christmas. I think the Phone is excellent, other than the fact that I can't get my pictures to go onto the PC. I don't understand why. I may only be 13years of age, but I know when I deffinitely need help. please HELP!!

Hi all,
I've had this phone a few days now and I bet you’re all fed up of hearing this but I can’t get my phone to connect to my pc. I have tried installing the MPM and USB Driver in different orders including having the lead attached and not attached. I am using the DCA-510 cable attached to my back USB. I have tried different versions of the driver and MPM software as one set came on cd with my phone and one set with my USB cable.
My opinion of the phone. I think this is a good phone especially for its cost. The problem is everyone seems to have a problem for me it’s the USB and GPRS wap. I have tried setting my phone with the config on siemens website for o2 but can still only connect to GSM. I have also noticed that I do not have worms already on the phone, I also do not have the currency converter but I wouldn’t use this any way as I’d rather use the calculator with the current exchange rate. Also any games and apps which should come on the phone can be downloaded from the siemens website. THE CALCULATOR DOES DO DECIMAL POINTS (HOLD DOWN ZERO). Also for predictive text just press hash till it goes off/on if your text is a little slow don’t worry what’s a few seconds.
When it comes to freezing you'll find Java is the main problem with any phone. I personally hate java in all forms but mainly on phones the one great thing about java is the apps and games but for me its not worth the problems it causes. My advice is when your using java take your time with it if you press a key and nothing happens give it a few seconds before trying it again because if your phone crashes while your using java and you have to take the battery out you might as well start looking for a new phone. I think we've had java long enough and its time for something better and more robust.
Overall I like the phone but if your going to buy one be prepared for problems you might be lucky and not have any, but I think the same goes for any phone. If someone made a perfect phone we'd all have it.
If anyone has any other suggestions on how to fix my USB connection apart from going into the device manager and reinstalling the driver please let me know.
