Once the keypad lights up, press the "Fn" key a little longer and the red backlight would go off. Good luck.
My square control key on the keypad falls off and now it is missing but the phone looks more beautiful with 2 small white lights on the empty hole!
Anyone could help me to find the spare part for the control key. Thanks.

You cant store any other types of songs but polyphonic rings. This phone is not capable of storing MP3, WMA, or AAC ringers. Despite its a very innovative and professional phone it should become the predescessor to some new advanced SK.

When I try to sync my Outlook Calender to my SK65 it comes up with an error message, also it doesn't import all my Notes from Outlook.

Dear Rohani,
I saw you SK65 conked out, would it possible to send a small spare part from you phone. I could not find this particular spare part as the model is about 2 years old. My phone is only 4 months old.
Pls advice.
Thanks
Chong

Yep, this consumer version - the SK6RP - (as sold by Dick Smith; and it is NOT locked to Optus, despite what they tell you), does only have 8MB of user storage. The other 20-something meg is used by the BlackBerry software which you cannot uninstall, which is sad really if you don't use that. The phone is prone to a display glitch (even with updated firmware); the screen and all functions will freeze and the battery has to be taken out and put back in. Unfortunate, since the phone is otherwise great, with some good games for available for it, and the keyboard is cool and easy to use. It plays WAV files pretty decently, too, and it's easy to upload new sounds and images to use, and MicroReader makes it simple to read and edit eTexts.

I need some reliable info regarding SK65 URGENTLY!
Does SK65 has 64Mb or 30Mb memory? Also, does the pre-installed applications take up 21.75 Mb which are un-deletable?
If this phone has just 8.25Mb of free space then its not worth buying! I was impressed about the 30Mb of storage capacity...
Someone please clarify...thanks...E-mail me on: fury824@hotmail.com
